2014 Toyota Altis 1.6g m/t vs 2014 Hyundai Elantra 1.6e m/t

What are your thoughts on these 2 cars? Now that the new altis is here, im torn. People ive asked mostly lean towards the altis due to the phrase "subok na japanese cars". The elantra on the other hand looks sleek. But the new altis's is growing on me. Any advise and inputs will be greatly appreciated.

With the new Altis out, id go with the Altis. The Elentra should be due for a change sooner...

Ive already seen the new elantra. Price nila magkalapit lang, elantra being a few thousand more expensive. ;)

Torn between the two models but different variants. I need to test drive both so I can decide.

+leather seat(not sure but i prefer black interior over cream)

I was already decided on getting the new elantra (already picked out the color and all) but then the new altis is coming out this week. Ill be checking toyota showrooms tom. And see 1st hand the new altis.
Would love to hear other tsikot members opinion though. ;)

Altis din for me...
For me mas maganda new look ng Altis ngayon and the interior look is much more elegant than the Elantra.
