2014 Ford Ranger XL M/T 4x2 vs 2014 Mitsubishi Montero GLX M/T 4x2?

* Maximum of 4 people (including 1 toddler), but mostly just 1 (office) or 3 (weekends) people
* Low maintenance costs
* Low fuel consumption
* (Interior) Boot space good to have but not life or death
* Higher driving (eye) level better

Other pointers:
* Size of Ranger for parking and maneuvering is fine
* Slight modding would be good - mags, slight lift
* Coming from an A/T, going for an M/T for fuel consumption and cheaper price
* 3 years loan, so minimum of 3 years ownership

I will choose the montero rather
than the Ranger cause owners say
there is turbo lag on the 2.2l ranger and
and the montero is better
cause you have a babby on board,easy acces to the rear compartment kung kailangan magpalit ng diaper

I have had a look at the entry-level Fortuner and the Isuzu MU-X but I prefer the Montero. The all new Everest naman is too far away to wait. Not to mention Mitsu have a 1.11m promo this Sept

Two different class SUV & Pickup. I pick the montero its just a better all around vehicle. Flexibilty in terms of usage/ needs.

tingin ko gusto lang ni TS ang porma at tindig ni ranger but his family need an SUV like montero..
