October 23rd, 2006 07:21 PM #1Kindly post comments. My initial take is that subaru's ride is smoother than mazda's. But overall appearance inside and out is definitely mazda's turf.

If we're talking Mazda6 2.3 versus Subaru Legacy 2.0 AWD (non-turbo)
Performance (handling, acceleration and fuel efficiency): Mazda, likely... more power, less drivetrain weight, better tires.
Interior: Not sure, but I'm betting Mazda...
Stability?Safety: ? The Mazda6 has traction control, ABS and EBD, which would give you good control in slippery conditions. The Subaru would be better on ice, but of course, we don't have ice here. Subaru wins, but it's close.
Looks: It's a tie. I love the looks of the Legacy...

Pahabol. Im a subie / awd freak , my not so bias answer on this unending comparo will be...if you will be driving in the manila traffic, sure get the mazda, the semi manual tranny is pretty good. But if you live somewhere in Baguio and you like to blast the kennon road ...please take the subie. Trust me, i've driven both
