Looking to buy a new car and budget is primary consideration (best bang for the buck - what are included like insurance, etc), but after sales like accessories, parts/service is also a big plus, third consideration will be fuel consumption.

No need to consider re-sale as we most likely be a keeper.

No flamers please, your opinions are all welcome (both positive and negative). and just a reminder let's respect everyones opinion.

    So start posting friends!

Ill go for the new Hyundai Accent coming out December vs Vios although vios is a nice car, I think the Accent is better. Technology wise, fuel efficiency, and better warranty (5years vs 3 years)

    Fuel economy (or consumption): Accent
    Parts availability: Vios
    Power: Accent
Exterior/Interior design: Accent (for the soon to be released model)
    Engine technology: Accent

    4 out of 5 - Accent

*Hanren and av8or5 - if the new Accent is coming out december. When do you think it'll be available locally? Is december the release date/month here?

I actually was contemplating the Accent early this year. one thing I noticed was that the rear seats were a little cramped when three people were seated. Ideal siguro 2+2 seating lang siya siguro. Thing to watch out is the front suspension, medyo pricey - per our clients. Pero in terms of FC nothing, save for motorcycles, can beat it.

Accent! It pulls like a V6...well, almost.

    But that thing is FAST.

Accent syempre! It is better than the Vios in both fuel efficiency AND power. Perfect for passengers late for their plane ride. Now, what about a Unichip equipped Accent cab?

I'd like the Accent to be my second ride. Very tempting. But keeping a Vios is surely a lot easier. I can testify to it, I own one.

Syempre cheaper to maintain ang vios, pero kung basing sa maneuvering and rektahan. No doubts, accent. Ganda ng acceleration etc. etc. CRDi e.

I'd pick the Accent. Especially the new one, as it now departs from the taxi-cab looks while still keeping the CRDi engine. :D
