Kung ok ang condition, I would suggest to go for the C180K. Eto ba yung may sport option? It looks nicer inside and out (subjective), power is ok (vs a 316), and pwede na ren yung options vs a bare 316.

But are you sure you can only get a 316 with that budget? I think you can get an early 323 or more recent 318 at least. Personally, I find E46's very ordinary and not so much of a headturner anymore but at least you get a satisfying drive.

In terms of resale, I think di naman sobra nagkakaiba lahat and the more expensive the car, the bigger hit later on.
