Early 2000s Y61 with the ZD30 were known to have grenade engines. Better look at the later models.

Search for "ZD30 Engine" on google and you'll see daming mga Patrol and 4x4 forums and articles talking about how to "diffuse" the grenade.
If you plan to get an early-2000s patrol be prepared to go through the same steps.

We have a 1998 Nissan Patrol Safari series (TD42 engine)... drives like a truck, acceleration is slow but its durable. Built like a tank. According to aussie forums TD42 engines are more reliable than the ZD30s.
