Maliit lang difference eh. Around 90k lang ata. Mostly ako lang naman gagamit. Mabilis ba bago magpalit ng bagong model? FC? PMS cost? Power? Comfort? Reliability and Durability?

Resale value is not an issue, siguro after 8 years pa naman papalitan as long as walang masira na major.

    TIA!

Sorento, bigger space, more power. If a 5-seat Santa Fe is priced 90k more over the Tucson, will you still consider the Tucson? I guess not.

Sorento. For 90k i will not even think twice - more room, more power, better ride. Especially you will keep it for 8 years, even if you do not need the space now you might need it later.

Marami at malalaki nga ang blindspots ng Sorento. Pero I still chose it kasi yung Sportage ang liit at ang baba ng ceiling. I'm only 5'4" pero ilang inches na lang yata ang bumbunan ko sa ceiling.

Ah talaga? I would've thought that mas maraming blind spot ang Sportage because of the smaller/shorter windows.

    I second this.

Nung nagte testdrive pa lang ako ng sportage at sorento (before ako nakabili ng Sorento) pansin ko na na mas maraming blind spot ang sportage. Maybe it is subjective, and is not experienced by all drivers but IMO mas madali talaga i-drive and sorento.

Ngaun bias nako sa Sorento dahil i've owned one for almost two years na. Never regretted my decision even once.

The blind spot point is new to me. But that notwithstanding, I'd take the Sorento. You'll never know when you'll need the extra space. And because it's got a longer wheelbase and is a bit bigger, the ride should be better and perhaps more stable.

For me parang masmadami blind spot si sportage. Test drove both and mas natuwa ako sa sorento (both diesel). But my daily drive is an X-trail, anglaki ng napansin kong blind spots and interior space difference.

Better get the 5 seater sorento. Di ko nga alam kung ano strategy ni Kia to have a sorento variant na konti lang difference sa sportage, eh di kakainin ng sales ni sorento yung sa sportage nila?

Well, malabo naman talaga ang strategy ng Kia. At one time there were like 7 models of the Sorento, not including the gas variants pa ata.

Anyways, despite being in a relatively similar market, the Sportage is being pushed as a compact SUV with a more youthful vibe. The Sorento comes forward as a mid sized SUV with a more formal presence.

Agree here. Sorento over its smaller brother....

It's in our radar end of the year.... And consistent with our preference of not owning models from the same make...
