renew ako ng car plan sa June pero medyo limited ang budget
i'm left with the following choices:
1) vios 1.3
2) vios 1.5 M/T
3) optra M/T (although medyo malaki na abono ko dito)
add'l info na pwede nyo iconsider in giving the advice,i'm from imus, cavite so traffic araw-araw; pang araw-araw na gamit lang
for those who already own one of the cars above, ano ba yung gas consumption nyo city/h-way driving (natanong ko lang kasi yung revo ko ngayon laklak sa gas e); ano ba yung mga pros and cons ng ganitong ride?
and if anyone of you can recommend a dealer/shop na ok kuhanan ng kotse, thanks in advance i'll appreciate kung cno marecommend nyo
i'll go for Optra.
complete ang safety features w/ that price... power is almost the same w/ other 1.6 sedans.
i like also the porma.... medyo class din tignan.
i have seen & test drive one unit na napanalunan sa raffle. ok na ok...kukunin ko na sana kaso A/t ang hanap ko ngayon para sa wife ko... 6Tkm lang ang mileage
if the route you take doesn't really have any steep uphill climbs, and if regular loading isn't that big(i.e. no of passengers), i think the 1.3L vios M/T is a very economical choice. 1.3L na, EFI pa. Also consider the corolla 1.3L XL if you're really on a budget.
take note though, my suggestions are borne out of economic considerations...in terms of safety features and such, the corolla XL's and even the highest end vios' safety features are virtually nil...apparently dito sa 'pinas, safety features are considered a luxury,
any feedback on the Kia Rio? imho the hatch/wagon version doesn't really look all that bad...
I would go for 1.3 vios kung sa fuel economy
umiiyak din ako sa gas prices ngayon ano? I spend $50 a week on mine gawa tumatakbo ako ng 437 average miles a week. e yung 5.4 liter v8 consumes about 14 miles per galon.
Kung hindi ko kelangan ng panghatak ng farm trailer, toyota echo bibilhin ko.
pero kung malaki na yung abono dun sa optra, e di yun na lang kunin mo.
Mr. Manalo, wag ka na kumuha ng Optra... GM Autoworld ang service nyan, and I had a very negative experience with them (i previously owned an OPEL Vectra)...Then again, baka nag-improve na service nila...But better safe than sorry.
Kung ako ikaw, I'll get a Toyota or Honda... yun eh, personal preference lang.
IMO, i'll cross out the Opel from the list(kawawa ka sa parts availability, mas marami pang parts na available sa MB at BMW). How about a diesel ride? Mas mura diesel ngayon kaysa gasoline at masarap pang-everyday car kasi mura ang diesel.
couple of weeks ago i was torn between getting a vios 1.5 m/t and a City 1.3 a/t CVT (halos same price kasi ang dalawa)
Vios offers an aesthetic edge over City kasi hindi sya nag deviate sa nakasanayan nating porma ng kotse, 1.5 yung displacement nya at mas malaki engine.. mura service.. yun ang advantage na nakita ko sa Vios
City naman, although 1.3... you dont need that much power kung City driving, pero at 1.3 ok na sya humatak, maski pa a/t sya very smooth ang shifting and sobrang okae ang suspension.. less horsepower kesa 1.5 pero mas maganda ang torque ng City.. interior malayo sa Vios, very plain ang vios and masikip.. na-appreciate ko rin yung ULT 60:40 rear seats ng City... Yung steermatic nya sa manibela, although sabi ng iba di naman nagagamit mashado.. nagagamit ko sya pag highway ako kasi mas madali overtake.. lalo na pag maganda break-in mo may hatak kahit na a/t
obviously i got a City.. what convinced me more the night before bago ako finally magdecide was when i saw a VIOS taxi in edsa.. makes sense na since ito yung low end car ng toyota, in the future baka dumami ang taxi na vios... ehehe
medyo malayo rin pala ang inuuwian mo ah. pero i'd say, get the most powerful, roomy car na papasok sa budget mo. i.e. optra is a good buy as compared to vios 1.3 & 1.5 variants. for your own good, don't get an automatic variant. bukod sa mahal, e malaki ang gastos mo sa gas. besides kung optra ang kukunin mo, it can seat 5 persons, again compared to vios, 4 person lang ang capacity. sa dimensions kasi ang vios at altis has 12 inches difference e. are you a family man? kung oo, get the optra. vios kasi pang binata lang.
thanks!
