Hehe.

Share ko lang pano ko ginawa.

After buying the second hand car ( should have it cleared first to be sure na hindi hot car, but since its my friends car I am sure na hindi carnapped yun) , I went to Camp Krame kaagad to get PNP clearance/TMG clearance , kelangan kase to sa LTO rin.

    Requirements nila for PNP/TMG clearance:

    1. Kelangan dala mo ang car/ vehicle mismo. Kase i mmacroetch nila dun..

    2. Bring Original OR and CR.

    3. Bring Deed of Sale original copy, kelangan naka notaryo sya, if not then ok lang, pwede naman mag pa notarize dun.

    4. Other documents like photocopy ng Ids with signature ng original owner.

After recieving the clearance papers from PNP, go to LTO kung saan naka rehistro ang kotse/vehicle.

Make sure dala mo ang Original OR CR, clearance and endorsement ng insurance or TPL and other docs. kase pag walang endorsement document galing sa insurance TPL, papa kuha nila sau, or request nila kumuha ka bago. At hassle and more expensive pa un.

mag sstencil sila ulit dun, using thier LTO form. Then pay 229 pesos lang yun ang bayad. wait for an hour.. then ayan na ang bagong copy ng OR CR mo with your name on it.

Change Of Ownership (para on your full name na pati sa OR/CR)
New Registration (mga two weeks before registration due kung isasabay
    nyo to).

"ask for a xerox copy of all the transanction papers"

for comparisson, future reference din po and peace of mind...
so i think hindi talaga to kailangang ipagkait and shouldn't be a problem...
pag ayaw pumayag o marami palusot... medyo tagilid kayo dyan...
check and compare all the details sa lahat ng mga papers....

    and finally...
Original Copy of OR/CR in your full name na...
    Insurance papers
    LTO Stickers...

    - Verification/Certification of Records
    from LTO(previous owner/s area) to LTO(area mo).
dito mo makikita yung mga records nung previous registered owner/s.
at yung mga important details nung car.

    - TMG Request and Clearance papers. ok lahat dapat...

    - PNP Motor Vehicle Clearance Certificate
from PNP Headquarters sa Camp Crame, Quezon City...

eto yung pinakamahahalaga raw... dito makikita kung listed or not
sa Wanted/Stolen Vehicles yung car mo heheh...

    - TIN Application for Registration... andito yung magiging TIN number mo...

    - Emission test Result/Certificate.

What if my CR is a duplicate original copy only (previous owner lost the orig copy and lto released a duplicated only), will TMG honor that?

    salamat!

Punta po kayo sa la loma LTO to check and verify if the car is hot or not. You can also try texting LTO Vehicle XXX123 to 2600.
After dun, you can also bring it to TMG.

By the way, meron po bang TMG sa Pasig? Existing ba to?

You can get PNP-TMG Clearance in Pasig, Merlaco Avenue along Metrowalk. PNP Clearance cost me Php1,100 rush, nakuha ko within an hour.
Here are some of my expenses for my Nissan Altima 1.8 Change of Ownership and registration:
    PNP Clearance 1,100
    Insurance 930
Smoke Emission 320 (accredited ng Company yung Shop)
Transfer & Renewal 5,380 (medium category kasi 1800cc)
Miscellaneous, representation & inspection fees 2,000

Procedure of Change of Ownership
