Hi. Im planning to buy an SUV car. Siguro ang budget ko ay Php. 2M below. Ano bang masa-suggest nyong brand and model. What I want is a QUALITY car na hindi pahirapang mag-maintain. Pwedeng used SUV pero hindi yung gamit na gamit and pwede din brand new SUV.

How about Mazda? It does offer Yojin3 free maintenance promo within the first 3 years of ownership. A CX5 SkyActiv AWD will have all the bells & whistles plus free maintenance for about 1.7M.

However, it still boils down to your preference. If I have 2M for an SUV of my choice, I'd go with a Forester XT. Though if I want to be practical with my 2M, I can get a new Focus Ecoboost as my fun car and get an Innova as my family hauler.

Stretch your budget a little bit more you can get brand new pajero. 2.450m😉 quality suv.
Search kasa olx dami din don naka post na mga used but not abused, beware lang sa mga biktima nang baha lalo na pag metro manila ang seller. You can get one suv and one sedan on your budget. 2 is better than one. Just my opinion. This is my plan kasi sir once settle nako sa pinas. Either buy ako ng used pajero bk or fortuner 3.0 ung mga 2years old plus isang lancer gta.😉

Kidding aside, stick with Japanese brands kung ayaw mo ng pahirapan sa maintenance/repairs. Usually pag new models ng American and Korean cars, it takes a few months for parts to arrive. For Japanese brands, 2-3 days up to a maximum of 1 week andyan na pyesa mo.

SUV: There's 3.0 ISUZU MUX * 1.4M. Sedan: You can get a Toyota Altis pero lalagpas ka sa 2M budget for both. Find a pre-loved Toyota to have 2 at 2M.

Isuzu MUX 2.5 or 3.0 4x2 AT kung ganun bagay sa'yo. Brand new so less maintenance talaga. Hindi masyado marami gadgets so less parts/mechanism na puwede magkaproblem ka in the future.

I belive na more features, more maintenance naman pero depend sa iyo yan kung okay na walang ibang techy features sasakyan more vs Fort at lalo na MS at Everest. Just my 2 cents.

For 2M, you can get a decent pre-owned Toyota Prado or Pajero BK, or add 200 or 300k to your budget, you can have a 2.4 brand new Ford Explorer

Ang TOTL Everest just below 2M, quality na quality yan. Kung resale value naman ang habol, Fortuner na though slightly above 2M na siya ngayon.

For 2nd hand, if for keeps, I'd suggest a LWB Santa Fe, assuming that you can find one. No problem with parts since there is a healthy population on the streets and the engine has been in the market long and is still one of the best in its class. It is definitely more refined than its ladder-framed classmates.

Kung bago ang sasakyan, wala naman halos pinapaayos besides routine maintenance so more or less patas lang naman ang mga yan. Dun na nagkakatalo kapag luma na at may kailangan na palitan na piyesa. Pero matagal tagal pa yun. If you follow routine maintenance, first 5 years or so of the car are basically worry free. Even longer if you take good care of it.
