2013 Ford Focus HB Go or No?

Hi Everyone,

Just asking for your help. My wife (new driver) wants an upgrade of her car. Then we spotted this 2013 Ford Focus Hatchback TOTL (Park assist, sunroof, push start etc) in a buy and sell shop. She fell in love with it. From P590k we were able to negotiate it to P560k.

If you are in our place, would you purchase this vehicle? Any input regarding Ford Focus, say, maintenance, fuel consumption and durability. Or would you suggest to considered other vehicles? If ever, what would it be and why.

Its a great car but the DSG is iffy.

It is a good car and it drives well, much like the Mazda3. The DCT just takes a bit of time to get used to. It is not the usual AT tranny as you need to learn to drive it or you might be complaining of it being clanky.

For its price, that is a steal. They are being sold before at 1.2M+.

Actually P560k is its asking price. But went back to test drive it this morning, unfortunately, it was already sold. Not meant for us.

Buy and sell shop with a cheaply priced focus? Kaduda duda agad [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] usually binabarat nila ang pagkukuhanan nila ng kotse and then ibebenta sa market price.
