Is that 1.4t the same as the best engine under 2liters?

I read the TSI/TFSI engines are really punchy for their displacement. I just wonder if the oil consumption issue has been solved.

One of the members in my car club got the entry level Jetta. It looks severely stripped down. Rims are using hubcaps. Although he got his lower than 850k. I think it was an Ayala employee incentive or something.

None of the current local VW inventory is made in China or else, they would have been a lot cheaper. The Polo is made in Malaysia. The Jetta 1.6L TDI is made out of Mexico. All the rest are made in Germany.

The Jetta 1.6L TDI MT priced at 850k is even offered at a discount to Ayala employees. The base Jetta 1.6L TDI DSG offered at 850k to Ayala employees only have steel tires with hubcaps and dark cloth/plastic interiors. The Jetta 1.6L TDI DSG offered at 950k has 17" rims, leather seats, and glossy plastic interior trims.
