If all you want is a reliable car all mechanics are familiar with, with a large parts supply, all defects addressed, decent FC and performance, I'd suggest the Montero Sport. Sure it's no longer class-leading and is dime a dozen nowadays, but it's well equipped for it's price and is proven to be a very capable car.

in truth? the one you can afford and not break the bank. 1,6M...?
and... what's your definition of SUV?
but the gelandenwagen would probably be nice, if these rabid aficionadoes are to be believed..... although i haven't been in one.. can't afford to even sit in one..

If you want more features and standard equipment, the mu-X (4x2 LS-A) is the one to get, but if you prefer more engine power, get the TB.

i agree with this. am i the only one who doesn't like how the mu-x looks? the front end is just too much for my taste.

    i didn't like it from day 1.
too las vegas-ish for my taste.. too many shiney thingees up front..

the land rover discovery... now that's an suv!
alas, 'tis too expensive for poor little me..

Parehong panget for me TB and MU-X. Nowhere as timeless as a Fort or Montero.

I'd take the trailblazer since I'm a happy owner of an LTZ. looks are subjective. Power isn't ;)
