check for the CR. dapat yellow. i-test drive mo rin para ma-check kung may kalampag. pwede i-test drive yan. kung pwede, magdala ka ng mekaniko para ma-check nya lahat ng mechanical at electrical components. better kung may casa records. marami thread dito regarding your question bro. try ko hanapin...

depende yan sa year model and condition bro. kung tip-top condition, ok na siguro yan. wag mo na i-finance. kapag kinompute mo yan parang brand new na rin. ayaw mo try brand new? kasi kung may 150K ka na, ok na pang-down yun. kasi same lang magiging monthly mo with 2nd hand and brand new. mas matagal nga lang bayaran kapag bago. btw, mura lang change of ownership at kung anu-ano pang kwento. baka puro palabok lang ng ahente yan. mas maganda kung ma-test drive at makita nung mekaniko yung unit bago bilhin. try to look pa rin sa ibang shops. dami nagbebenta ngayon ng 2nd hand. wag ka magmadali sa pagbili bro. mas maraming choices mas maganda.

Ganun ba mas mapamahal pa ako kasi kulang pa pera ko at very budgeted lang di kaya ng brand new kaya ko naman kagad bayaran yon ng fully paid kaya lang by April or May pa puede ba yon sa financing di ko sundin yung terms of payment nila bayaran ko kagad yung the rest malaki kaya tubo nun.

someone i know sold a 96 honda vti matic two or three years ago for 250k. first owner and all that. and the car was still in pretty good shape (rode in it several times), except, it was coming up for the expensive PMS (timing belt and friends).

so 280k for a 1996 vti matic in 2006 is way too expensive. of course malaki diyan patong ng dealer, siguro 50k.

usually better to buy direct from owner.
kapag matagal na for sale and madami na nagtest drive, malaking pahirap sa kotse.

documents, may kilala ako magaling magcheck, pm me if you want the contact info.

if you cannot bring a trusted mechanic with you, try and bring the car to your mechanic.

tama si aceshark maraming choices,,and ipakita mo sa mekaniko just to make sure na okay pa auto, that way di ka magsisi sa bandang huli,.marami din kasing for sale diyan na magandang tignan pero di mo naman alam ang naging history nito..

Bossing search the forums for "used car" or "2nd hand" marami kang matututunan. Wag padalos-dalos malaking pera yan.

Kung hindi ka bihasa sa kotse, magsama ka ng trusted mong mekaniko. Tingin ka rin sa buy and sell newspaper ng mga presyo para alam mo ang going rate.

    try buy and sell also.

for 250k why not look for a 96-97 mazda 323 GLXI or GLX matic? mga 180k lang yun dami ka pang sukli. parts cost is less than honda.

why get a 10yr old car when you can have a newer model? 250K mo can go as far as a 2000 model cars like nissan and ford sedans. sometimes may makikita ka din honda city and lancers for that price. at least kung di ka marunong technically tumingin ng cars e galingan mo nalang sa negotiation skills. wag ka lang magmadali marami ka makikita dyan good deal.

in addition, in my experience kahit na may dala ka mechanico to check the car you want minsan may sablay pa din. dont expect too much on a second hand car. make sure that you allocate budget for immediate repairs, registration, transfer, etc.

Buying from a dealer is wayyy more expensive. I saw a 95 or 96 Lancer. A Owner was selling his for 150K...i went to a dealer n he was selling it for 185K.

The thing is, if u buy from an owner... he's the one who's been driving the car daily..so you could ask him questions bout how it drives. And you could contact him n say, "hey... did u have idle problems before? how did u fix it?" n such things like that..whereas a dealer wouldn't really know the car..n how it drives n its past problems.

But try www.adpost.com and search used cars under Philippines. Also drop by your local 7-Eleven store and buy the P25 Car Ad magazine... it usually has a female model on the front cover.

Dealing with owners is much more better, since you can easily negotiate..unlike a dealer who needs to make a profit.

don't be too concerned with age / mileage of the car. be more concerned with the actual condition. there are lots of old cars that are in better condition than newer ones.

Question buying 2nd hand car sa dealer
