walang decent new-ish SUV for that price. for that price you're looking at very early '90s nissan patrols.

why not just buy a Hilander? or an Adventure or Revo? hindi sila SUV pero easy to maintain. You can get a 1998-2000 model for that price.

Yup, AUVs is a definite option for your need.

If you want SUV's you could get 98-99 Gen1 Honda CRV, or 98 Gen1 Toyota Rav4 as well.

Ayaw mo ng AUV? mas mura ang maintenance.

Recommend ko sayo Hilander XTRM SUV look.

hi, bro jughead..diin ka sa negros..?..i understand you are worried about your child health and car rental expense..i'm thinking kasi getting a 2nd hand car coming from your p300-400k budget may compromise its road worthiness given the road unworthiness from where you are..think of how much it may cost you in terms of ownership and maintenance..

in the end you may consider other practical approach in dealing with your child regular health check-up..plan to settle your family in the city perhaps..?

    just my 2cents..

Bro kung 300-400t ang budget mo ok na rin...

Kung ayaw mo nang gasoline na SUV or AUV dahil sa taas nang gasoline. Better mag diesel ka na lang...

Ma recommend ko sayo na diesel:
Toyota Revo may diesel & gasoline, hinde mahirap piyesa... Nissan Safari asa ganun presyo din mga 300-400t... Pwede rin van bro, kung gusto mo... Kia Besta...

PWede ko rin ma recommend sayo, Suzuki Vitara, matipid siya...

The Suzuki Vitara is a decent buy at that price (the '95s are going for around Php240k nowadays). Siguro mga 2001 model na yung almost Php400k. I'm not sure if there is a Suzuki dealer in your area. Or at least a Mitsubishi dealer since some parts do cross over since they have common suppliers (some OEM Vitara parts even have Mitsu logos on them).

To be practical, an AUV or van is a good choice. But with the current trend of the market, AUV's seem to be holding their value quite well which means they can be a bit expensive even as pre-owned units. I have no idea what AUV fits your budget. Other Tsikoteers might be able to chime in. AFAIK, a Mercedes Benz MB100 will already fall into your budget. AUV's and vans may not have 4wd, but a lot of them are still truck-based and can take on bad roads easily.

Nakakuha pinsan ko ng RAV4 3 door A/T parang kay mikmik, Php350k ata yung price. Pero hindi na masyadong makinis (ok naman mechanically).

bro, pasok na budget mo for a 93 Nissan Safari. Can drive thru almost any road conditions. Saw one at Ortigas tagged at 435K pero last price is 400K, Terrano din pasok sa budget mo kasi nag hahanap ako ng 99 up na Terrano and sa 400K pinaka mababa pero at least 99 model siya.

i would rather save the rest of the money and just get a gen1 pajero.. its cheap and reliable, will take the beatings of the provincial roads, hindi nakakapanghinayang isabak plus its so easy to maintain.. you can easily find spareparts on almost any autosupply store

to jughead..pre taga hinigaran(gargato) man ako but nagmigrate ako Canada. I have also the same plan like you trying to find a used vehicle around 300-350th. i'm considering A mit adventure if my budget would fit and it's also diesel.
my father have crosswind XTO and its very fuel efficient, he bought it brand new last 2002 yet the price of used now is around 500t. So I'm planning to stick to my plans to look for 1998-2000 Adventure for the meantime .

Need to buy SUV budget 300 to 400k
