hi guys! may hi ace commuter 2012 model m/t ako and nagbabalak akong bumili ng sedan . ask ko lang mga suggestions nyo kung ano yung pinaka magandang car sa list ko in terms of:

1.) fuel efficiency (most important mahal na gas!)
2.) maintenance (yung hindi sirain over the years)
3.) spare parts (replacement parts and pang "porma" parts, yung madaling hanapan)
4.) air conditioning (sabi kasi sa forum yung iba di maganda ang ac)
5.) comfort (the feel)
6.) overall experience

City E CVT, or VX if you have the budget. Ticks all your criteria. A better car overall than all your other choices.

I would get the Vios 1.5 cvt...

toyota dual vvti tech is better than the honda sohc 1.5 engine. it is importantly more frugal by a small smidge.

the AC is better also.

On paper and as per Suzuki claim nobody can beat the ciaz to date at a staggering 29 km/li. Parts are ready available. Confirm the numbers though.

CVT is different from a conventional A/T.

Anyways, if the Ciaz had a 5- or 6-speed A/T, then I guess maybe it would have a chance to be on par with the best subcompacts (city/vios).

under 700k po yung budget ko sir diba pasok na ba sa base a/t na vios yun ? nag dadalawang isip din kasi ako sa vios kasi (no offense) mostly used kasi sya pang taxi . pero kung i setup ko why not

If you like the Mirage G4, go get it. I’ve driven it a few times, ample naman ang power in city traffic. Ok din naman performance sa highways. Tipid sya and very manageable to drive. Maganda na rin naman ang technology nya based sa GLS na nagamit ko. Parts wise, daming ng mirage nowadays so madali ang maintenance nya.

But if you have the budget, Honda City E or better yet VX.

At 700k you are limited to the following trunked subcompact:

Hyundai Accent 1.4E GL 6M/T
Mitsubishi Mirage G4 GLX 1.2L3 5M/T
Honda Brio Amaze 1.3E M/T
Toyota Vios J 1.3 5M/T

Cons:
Hyundai doesnt have airbag,abs,ebd, very stripped down features though you get large boot
Mitsi got smallish engine, but if you are not keen on power then this is the best choice
Honda gets the older SOHC engine and smallish gas tank and trunk
Toyota taxi model got dual airbags but no abs/ebd, 14"steel rims, no remote controlled door opener & other missing accessories
