    Thanks.

depends, it may differ from person to person but before you release the money to the seller make sure you have everything written down and in a signed contract. also, it's best to be sure you are dealing with someone reputable and not some fly-by-night operation.

try to check din the history of the car with the police or tmg to be sure di sya stolen or wala syang bad record.

what specific place o pwede itawag nalang sa phone?

or do you have to get clearance that the car is not really stolen?

also i have noticed alot of people who buy second hand cars just use the deed of sale... and they do not change the ownership of the car... para daw second hand parin kung ibebenta sa iba? is this wise? are there any disadvantages?

Hi this is a very old topic, i was just searching sa forum kse.

Pano nga pala ma verify sa TMG/PNP ung OR/CR? na nde sya stolen? and ma check for records? Is it thru phone? or you have to go to their office and file a request? And saan ba office nila? Would it take whole day?

di ako sure exactly how to check ung history ng car sa tmg/pnp. i had a friend do the checking for me when i bought my car.

pero once the car has cleared, i met the seller at my bank. i checked the deed of sale, or, cr, looked over the car, testdrove it for a bit. when everything was ok, we went inside to withdraw the payment. the seller was in front of the cashier when she counted the money. then gave it directly to him. di ko na hinawakan ung pera. after that, the deal was done. sya na bahala mag bitbit ng pera, ayoko mag dala ng ganun kalaki e.

depende nga pla sa amount. you may need to give the bank advance notice before ma withdraw kung malaki ung amount.

    kung balak nyo i transfer;

    1. deed of sale
    2. form for transfer vehicle( LTO docs)
    3. PNP clearance ( Macro etching)
    4. smoke emission
    5. taong pupunta sa original place kung saan nakarehistro dati yung vehicle

    in other words matrabaho.. hehehe

    hope it helps,,,
