    Hello,

I am buying my first passenger car and need your advices

I have been approved by metrobank and need a dealer to buy this car or other car choices

Which cars at the 750k - 800k price range fits the ff:

Small car (i have a fortuner but it is getting tiring to drive of the big body)
    A little comfort
    Fuel economy
    Low maintenance

Really eyeing the city 1.5e cvt (cant afford the vx since out of the budget

Is the accent cvt still have issues? Does it drive better?

    How abou the vios 1.3e?

    Please help

vios, city, or accent... It's a toss up between vios and city. In my opinion... I'll get the city... Or if you don't need the trunk space, jazz.

I prefer the honda city...mas matipid sa bumper to bumper traffic and the interior is better than the altis.

Altis definitely. The City is still a subcompact with less power and a crashier ride.

Na test drive mo na ba sir? I test drove the city and rented the new altis. On rough road the altis bounced(me and my friend) more than the city(me and the honda rep). Less power for sure..but with cvt youre riding on the correct power/torque band.

Yup I've driven the new Altis (used it as my service car for a few weeks) and I've also tried the City (my friend owns Honda Cam Sur).

I'd say the new City is a big improvement over the GM City, but still not as good as the Altis.

    Thanks for the inputs!

The dilemma is city vx is 880k while altis g is 935k. U see?

I add a little and i get a compact car

But what i need is just a small car. But with that price of the city, i think it is more practical to get the altis.

    Do i make any sense?

If you just need a small car why not just get a Mirage GLS for only 640k. The 300k you save vs an Altis can be used for a lot of other things.

Nothing wrong going 935k. As for cvt...toyota has been using that in their prius for over 5 years? No recall whatsover. The altis nvh is top notch. I just dont like the suspension ehhehe

If you already have a Mirage and Fortuner, the Altis is a good 3rd car.

The City is just as premium as a Mirage for me. Even if it's technically more spacious than a Mazda 3 or Lancer EX, it still screams cheapo subcompact, not any different from a Vios or Accent.

The Altis is more premium, just as spacious and more comfortable, which seems to be exactly what you're looking for.

Well that's my opinion. If you think the City's a luxurious car, then suit yourself

Telling people here that honda city is a cheapo car makes me think that you either a honda hater or you are a HONDA HATER

    Or a filthy rich SOB
