Peeps, I need help on buying a new ride. We're planning to buy a new ride this coming May. This is our first time to buy a brand new car and we don't want to end up buying the one that's not best for our money.

Our choices are: (According to preferences and doesn't matter if gas or Diesel)

    REVO A/T
    Highlander A/T (Turbo)
    Adventure A/T

My addition: 2nd hand Pajero (Tonka look) kahit di A/T. What else should we consider within the price range?

I like to hear your good and bad experiences about these rides. Please help us decide.

If you know the websites of these dealers please post it.

    Thanks!

I would go for the tonka look 2nd hand pajero, i double check mo lang with a good and trustworthy mechanic ang sasakyan. Preferably dont buy the converted LHD.

kups::: i second wildthing's suggestion. just make sure hindi lemon ang unit na kukunin mo :D Major considerations are engine, drivetrain, exterior, interior.

Kung sa brandnew, i suggest Hilander XUVi :D

brand new: crosswind XUV... next is revo. i'd prefer diesel para matipid

pre-owned pajero for 800+K, mga 1997 or 1998 models na lang ata yan... that's almost 5-6 years old na vehicle with the old 4d56 tdic engine. your call... kung appealing talaga sa iyo i say go for it

Salamat sa mga reply and keep it coming.

It will definitely help us balance things out.

    Salamat ulit!

If you're willing to gamble, get a Pajero. I did and I'm pretty happy with it. It was either this or a Japanese subcompact for me. Thank God, I chose the SUV. Hehehe.

    y not just get a m/t?

    Y not the new CR-V?

MAXBUWAYA: CR-V? Within price range ba yun?

Gasoline AUV: Revo Sport Runner or LXV. Also consider CR-V for more prestige.

Diesel AUV: Isuzu Crosswind, but I don't recommend automatic because I heard it's sluggish.

i agree, CRV M/T should be within that range rin... if it was my money, I'd go for bnew over 2nd hand (menos headache lalo na if you're not too mechanically inclined or patient)... I'd go for the Isuzu, Toyota then Mitsu...

    kupaloids,

Kung sa tatlo, Isuzu ako (japorms).
Kung CRV M/T naman, it will cost you 899K for the base price. Safety and ride okay naman (tulin dre he he).
    Good luck!

I don't wat to leave he a big headache when I get back here.

IceColdBeer: Marami pang idadagdag sa CR-V? Like what?

    kupaloids,

Mga accessories lang naman. Pwede din namang wala he he

    Yung mga basic na wala:
    Tint
    Seat Cover
Clock (he he not alarm clock ha?)

Then if you want you can add:
    Fog Lamps/Garnish
    Sports Grill w/skid plate
    Rear Spoiler
    Rear Under Mirror
    Spare Tire Cover
    Rain Visor
    atbp...

Kung secondary lang sa yo yung ibang acc., then just add the basics, okay ka na.

    i'd go for the isuzu.
also check on www.motioncars.com for more review.

Decisions, decisions.

    kupaloids,

He he narinig mo na rin pala
Given your three choices, mas prefer ko nga ang Isuzu over the two.
Pero CRV is worth considering as well he he  Di kita ni-rerecruit ha?

Kups::: if you want to lay out your choices in terms of fuel... this is what i suggest.... GAS => CRV, DIESEL => XUVi
