Which of these factors do you consider first in buying a new vehicle?

    ako ang ginamit ko:

    a) inevaluate ko muna what i need. i may need a sedan lang for everyday driving o i may need a bigger van to handle my family. since tatlo pa lang kami, i opted for a sedan muna, which i think is more easier to maintain, is more fuel efficient, mas madaling i-park, etc.

    b) the second criteria is: kung sedan, how much engine displacement do i need? for everyday driving, i really don't need a 2.0 liter car.

    c) pangatlo, yung budget. for a 1.6 liter car, ano maabot ng budget ko?
    d) pang apat, sa budget ko, anong features makukuha ko?
    e) panglima, dun sa features ng oto na makukuha ko, madali ba ang access sa parts, sa service? etc...

tapos nun, test drive na based sa choices...

    8)

ako everything starts with the looks... kung di maganda yung itsura for me, i wouldn't bother checking the other specs and stuff...

based on the choices above, pretty much a blend of everything... the car with the least amount of compromises to my wants and needs will be the one.

Budget muna. Nakakadismaya kasi kapag tiningnan mo na lahat ng features nung auto tapos around 7 digits na pala. :D

budget then looks. Hirap na mag shop around for something na di kaya bilhin or too luxurious for my own good. Hirap ng pera ngayon eh.

hmm sa akin looks and specs first of all (kaya ko gustong gusto ng patrol)... and then i have to see a real unit for myself. importante sa akin yung feel ng sasakyan... like i like a lynx better than an altis 1.8G... i dunno... mas maganda yung feel ng lynx e

sa tingin ko the first thing that we see is the exterior of a car, its looks. pero from the choices given above, para sa kin it would be a "pefect blend of everything"

i would'nt choose a good looking, high performance car if all the interior parts fell off or if it would break down ocassionally. or a car that has 350 hp, but has no safey features

to me, a perfect compromise of performance, looks, quality and evrything else for the money you are paying it for. but then again, it all depends on the needs and financial resources available to us.

kapag ma alaga ang previous owner sa looks ng car usually ma alaga din sya mag maneho. :P

    first priority ko talaga reliability.

a close second would be fuel economy.

    third would be comfort.

then all other factors would come in next.

    last would be the looks.

no offense to others, pero tingin ko sa mga tao na porma ang unang tinitignan sa isang kotse ay mababaw ang taste. :P

I really expected you voters to pick the last choice among the list, but unfortunately, there is no such car that has all the attributes buyers look forward to. The best brand we have is BMW, which must have had everything we are looking for if not for the lack of image.

i'd say the first thing to look at is the budget.... everything else follows. You can always have the best features of a car at the budget you can afford. 8)

In buying a new car, which do you prioritize?
