LTO Registration Stickers

I have few questions guys since this is my first time to have my ride registered:

1. Yung LTO sticker ba na dinidikit sa windshield, kelangan clearly visible sya even if your tint sa windshield is super black? And also, dapat ba dun lang sya nakadikit sa medyo upper left ng windshield, hindi ba pwede sa upper left extreme or lower left extreme ng windshield or kung saan man?

2. Regarding sa plate, yung numbers and letters ba pwede black yung color nun and not the usual green?

1. i'm not sure kung huhulihin ka pag heavily tinted ang windshield mo tas doon nakadikit yung sticker. pero we usually stick those sa mid right section (if you're viewing from the inside) ng windshield.

2. plates should be reflectorized for the owner's safety na rin.

1. di naman. my tints are super black, pero wala pa namang naninita sa akin. it can be stuck anywhere, basta naka dikit in case may nanitang LTO personnel sa iyo.

2. tampering yun pre kung iibahin mo kulay ng plate mo.

Bawal baguhin ang kulay ng plate number. May dahilan ang LTO na hulihin ka pag ganon.

I don't stick the windshield registration stickers since 1997 pa on all our vehicles. Pangit eh! hehehe! Pero dapat nakalagay yung plate registration stickers para ma-identify na registered yung tsikot.

When we bought our 2nd hand sentra 2yrs ago, it had LTO stickers on it from 93-2004..Fugly!

Ne ways, when we got our tint, we had them take off the old stickers, n they actually took off the current sticker, and placed it on the bottom right side of the windshield n cut out a rectangle so that it it's clearly visible.

yep, na experience ko na to - dati kasi sa lowest right corner ng windshiled ako nagkakabit ng sticker.

according to an ex-tennis buddy of mine who used to work sa LTO, the proper placing of the sticker is at either the upper right corner or upper left corner of your windshield. dapat daw visible ito - hindi natatakban ng tint or any object that could obstruct yung sticker.

ilaminate mo at ipit mo lang sa gilid oks na un... nakakadumi un pagdikit e..hehehe.. kahit naman super dark walang problem.. tinitignan naman madalas un sticker sa plate e..

ACCORDING TO THE LTO
1) the regulation is that it should be stuck on the LOWER RIGHT side of the windshield. Failure to stick it will result in a Fine and apprehension.
Having a black tint on the windshield is ILLEGAL. the driver should still be visible.

2) You cannot color it. Tampering of the plate number's color, painting or removing the reflectorized sticker will result in a fine and apprehension.

Kung gusto nyong masita ng PULIS or MMDA. just do the opposite. There is a handbook that clearly states these... your car will be impounded..

bro...just buy acetate and place your sticker on that. then cut it to the right size. then dab water and stick to winshield, that would be good. it can be taken off easily and it doesnt fall off. thats what i did with mine.

Don't color the letters black, that would tamper your plates.

di naman siguro pre... as i've posted above, my front, rear and side glasses are on superdarks. hindi naman ako sinisita ng mga pulis, sarap pa magmaneho pag summer. hehehehe.

naka super black yung rear and side tint ng car namin. yung sa harap naman black din yung tint. never ko kinabit yung sticker sa harap kasi napapangitan ako. buti naman at never pa ako nasita ng pulis. hehehe. even sa ibang sasakyan namin before hindi namin kinakabit yung car sticker sa windshield. we just make sure na yung sticker sa plate nakakabit palagi.

OT lang po. How do I remove old LTO stickers from the windshield and body without damaging the glass or the finish?

I bought a 2nd hand Civic at yung sticker na nakadikit pa dun ay 2000 pa. Balak ko palitan pag nagrenew ako come Aug.

Black din tint ng windshield ko pero di pa naman nasita. Pero yung stickers baka mahanapan ng butas kasi 2000 pa nga

OT lang po. How do I remove old LTO stickers from the windshield and body without damaging the glass or the finish?

Common solution I noticed: Try rubbing the sticker with a clean cloth soaked in hot water, then slowly peel off. Or you can try blowing it with hot air from a hair dryer, then slowly peel off. And avoid using sharp implements when removing the sticker.

so far d pa ko nasisita dahil naka superblack lahat ng salamin ko sa sasakyan, d ko rin dinidikit yung sticker sa windshield. kaso kelangan idikit yung sticker sa plate number. yun ang tinitignan usually ng mga pulis at mmda.
