How many is "we"? Any luggage/lifestyle requirements, other than a vehicle to go from Point A to Point B?

Not sure how updated this list is, but the Wigo AT is more than P400K (http://www.toyotapricelist.com/):

    TOYOTA WIGO 1.0 G AT Php534,000.00
    TOYOTA WIGO 1.0 G MT Php499,000.00
    TOYOTA WIGO 1.0 E MT Php448,000.00

    For reference:
    Mirage 1.2L GLX CVT a/t P553,000.00
    Mirage 1.2L GLX m/t P503,000.00

What about SUVs, have you been able to scout around? And if so, what are in the price range?

If you just need a car to move around and with that budget, I would suggest the following:

The newest that you can get are:

    Hyundai I10

    Most practical are:

    Honda Jazz
    Honda City
    Toyota Altis
    Toyota Vios

Without worrying too much about floods:

    Honda CRV

You can get a previous generation Hyundai Accent diesel for 300k if youre worried about fuel economy

Or a 1998 Ford Expedition if you dont......

welcome to the club (of confused would-be buyers) !
with today's choices, it's hard to imagine which is the "wrong" choice. they all have something going for them.. (whatever your choice, how can you lose?)
    happy hunting.

A used Mazda3. You can get a newer model compared to other pre-owned brands because of its low resale value.

    if used vehicle
yung gen 1 na vios..yan ang pinakamatipid compare sa gen 2 and gen 3. hanap ka na lang ng well kept na unit.
if you need a bigger vehicle. may adventure, crosswind and revo. search mo na lang dito sa tsikot comparisons nila.

if brand new you can choose suzuki alto, toyota wigo or mitsubishi mirage
