    Hi!

I'm planning to buy my first car. my budget is 300k-400k (max).

Toyota Vios 2007-2008 - pinakacommon na taxi, pero I'm still considering it. fuel efficient, maganda ang review sakanya, pero as much as possible ayoko siya kasi nga ginagawa taxi hehe..

since you would be buying a car that is around 4 to 5 years old, baka marami ng components na kailangan palitan.

Hyundai Getz i10 I think kaya ang brand new na automatic. isa din siya sa cinoconsider ko... is it better than getting vios 08-09? many thanks!!!

Since A/T lang ang bibilhin mo, wala na ang Accent CRDi since M/T lang yun. Vios 1.3A/T has poor FC for the engine size, same holds true for the Mazda 3.

The City A/T is a good car, and if you get the VTEC variant, a pocket rocket too. This one's extremely fuel efficient. However, you have to take really good care of it since the CVT is known for premature breakdown- the reason why the current Jazz/City doesn't use it anymore.

Might I suggest you consider the ZZ Altis as well. Comfortable and reliable, low maintenance car. Can be fast if you push it too.

A/T cars are not as bad as some people may think. Hell, many of them probably don't even own one. Five years old is still very young. Four of the five cars our family uses are A/T ('04, '05, '06, '08 models with mileage ranging from 40+tkms to 70+tkms), none of them have had any transmission-related problems.

i10 1.2A/T gets poor FC and considering its small size, not worth it, IMHO.
