    Hello po mga Sirs, hihingi lang po sana ako ng advice sa inyu sa dalawang sasakyan ko na pinagpipilian both are 2nd hand;

2017 Kia Rio 1.6L MT 6speed, ODO 20K+ (Top of the line)
    2012-2017 Hyundai Accent 1.4 MT, ODO 50K+

4.) In terms of driving, alin po mas smooth at malakas sa paakyat ng road?
5.) Alin po mas matatag sa dalawa yung tipong kahit rough road eh ok parin?
    6.) Overall verdict po ninyu

Sana po ay matulungan ninyu ako makapag-decide kung mag go-go ako sa Kia Rio or dun ako sa Accent

    Marami pong salamat

Get the newer car with less mileage. Both cars are of the same size and most probably same platform. Kia and Hyundai share platforms, engines, and tranny.

Hindi pa po kaya ng budget sir dahil may hinuhulugan din na bahay at lote, dahil mahirap na mag motor (bawal angkas at malaki na anak) we decided to buy 2nd hand nalang muna pero syempre yung good engine at walang ibang sira

Around 300k to 350k prices nila.
Hindi naman sir, gusto ko sa vios yung 2015-up kaso hindi talaga kaya ng budget kasi nasa 450-500k yung mga vios.

Sa 350k, puwede 2nd hand na Wigo, G4, Celerio.

If you want to buy used, look for a Jazz or City or Vios.

Meron din 2013 Vios sir pero 100k+ ODO same price sa mga nabanggit ko, is it still worth it than 2017 Kia Rio 1.6L MT 20k+ ODO?

Between the two, I would pick the Rio - Less mileage and newer.

If I have 350k now for a used car, I would look for a used Civic or Altis or City or Vios (2009-2012) for less than 300k with decent mileage and use that 50k for repairs.

See the condition of the car.. 2017 model kia rio for 350k is good buy given its in good condition... 2009 - 2012 model is already old tapos 100k pa mileage.... for sure your 50k might not be enough for repairs especially if you opt for original parts..

Parts for kia are cheaper even the original parts.

Thank you sa comment mo sir malaking tulong. Anyway pa OT, sa 2014/2015 Vios po ba kahit 100K plus mileage, still a good buy considering good condition pa at 350k pesos?

Kung ako po ang bumibili ng car and i have 350k cash.. ill buy the latest model with the lowest mileage i can buy with my 350k.. but make sure the car mileage is not tampered or the car was flooded..

Compare the two cars and check where you will get the most... dont worry about the parts.. both cars have good sources of parts especially if you know where to buy.. and both are "basic" cars

Ok naman Korean cars. Good experience namin with a 2010 Sorento. However, if a major part needs replacement, it could be a challenge.

when i said it was short. it had low capacity.

you're talking about the tire-to-fender gap.

back to your original post, the kia 1.6 will have more power obivously thus faster but to the expense of fuel use. though not that much. I think this rio(IF 4th Generation 2017+) has a newer suspension setup. the newer generation korean models have better suspensions overall.

I've owned korean and japanese cars.. latest gen of kia rios are reliable and have interchangeable parts with hyundai... no major problems encountered.. just the regular maintenance.. same with my japanese cars..

Again for my money.. ill buy the latest year model with the lowest mileage korean or japanese car.. the chinese.. pass

go vios, altis, or even innova diesel, if you get lucky.
they're japanese, with perceived good build quality and reliability.
also, maraming piyesang hindi ga-mahal, at maraming mekanikong marunong gumawa.
