Have you done a test drive? Sounds simplistic but I'll bet you'd know what to get afterwards.

There's not much in the City 1.5 that you won't get in the Elantra... The Elantra has a more powerful engine, a better automatic transmission, a better ride and more space.

The City will probably be a little more economical to run, but not that much... there's little difference between a 1.5 liter and a 1.6 liter engine in terms of fuel economy... and the Elantra is relatively light for a regular sized car.
