Buying a pickup or SUV...what would you recommend

We're planning to buy a pickup or an SUV, not sure pa if 2nd hand or brand new. if 2nd hand, what would you guys recommend? right now my choices are the ford ranger, isuzu trooper, toyota hilux and the nissan frontier. what years of the said vehicles are ok? kung brand new naman the choices are the toyota hilux and the isuzu Dmax...what do you guys recommend?

by the way is the hilux surf and the nissan terrano any good? thanks!

If your getting a brand new pickup my pick would be the Toyota Hilux, more power and torque than the Isuzu D-Max.

I suggest you buy the ISUZU D-MAX. Tapos bumili ka na lang ng pantakip sa likod, meron ka ng ALTERRA. So hitting two birds with one stone ka. Meron ka ng pick-up, may SUV/MPV ka pa.

same with ild, hilux. actually konti lang naman choices kung brand new eh...there's the hilux, d-max, ranger, frontier..ano pa ba? ah! ang lumang L200 strada...hehe

how much is your budget?

The budget will determine a lot on the choices but if you're looking for a 2nd hand with a budget of 550K to 700K, a '01 - '03 Strada seems cool (good features, ride and reliable engine). Try to get one that is as new or less abused as possible (pickups are workhorses right>).

Brand new, the Hilux is my choice over the Dmax.

siyempre mas recent ang unit mas maganda altgough subject pa rin on what the state the car is di ba.
depende din sa usage mo, an 02-03 Strada is a wise choice, very very tough imho

well, after much thought and from your relies, my choices now are: if 2nd hand Nissan Frontier,the Toyota Hilux, or the Strada. kung budget ko for a 2nd hand pickup would be between 500k-660k, ok na ba yun for a 2000 and up model?
kung brand new naman, siguro i'll go for the Hilux, ganda ng porma e.

kung mga circa 2000 na pickup... my choices would be:

- Ford Ranger (has the strongest engine back then)
- Nissan Frontier
- Mitsubishi Strada (this is a classic!)
