I'm first time car buyer. Frankly I dont have any car model in mind. So I need all car experts help.

    Below are my preference:

    a. Budget of 500K
    b. Second hand cars are OK
    c. AUV or SUV
    d. Diesel preferred but not required

What Brand, Model and Year of Make would give me the best value for my money?
    Advance thanks to all!!

+1.. Dalawa sa mga matitibay na AUVs.

Anyway. RAV4 na 2002 models might fit into your budget.

IMO if your budget permits, get the TOTL crosswind. It offers more features that you might enjoy.

It would help the guys if you would say something about you.

    -are you single or married?
-if married, how many in the family?
-will you use the vehicle for both personal and work?
-what area do you live and work (typical destinations or distance to drive)?
-how bad is the traffic in your daily commute?

Adventure is ok. Nakakaantok sa bagal but its a bit faster than crosswind and the engine noise is lower but for 500K, I'd rather get a Starex GRX CRDI (usually mga 500K+ but you might find one at 500K). Way way faster and far far more comfortable.

Why not get a pick up, sir? The previous-gen 2.8L Hilux is a looker and bagay ang lift-up.

Dunno but my half cousin owns and drives one. He claims he gets 7 to 9km/L in it in city driving.

Even my Corolla can dive to 4km/L in a bad week of Metro Manila traffic.

Can the TS afford those vehicles posted above with a price tag of 1.37M and 950K?

But the MS would be nice. Starex GRX for 500K? Nah... I don't think he can get one, the lowest price I saw was around 560K, but if can still find one at 500K that would be nice.

For practical questions, Do you really need the power of Starex GRX if the advie or crosswinds is just enough even though its underpowered, it can still bring you from point A to B.
