    hmmm just to give you an idea, my aura 10"er has a total volume of 0.95 cu.ft, wedge type yung box. maganda ang bayo, nice soft bass and gapang pag heavy spl sounds.

    ano ba recommended volume ng targa?

    .8 daw cu ft. yung sa size nya kaya lang na cocompute ko lang is .802 pwede na ba yon?

    Width = 16.3
    Height = 14
    Depth = 9
    Thickness = .75 (MDF board)
    Interior Volume = 0.80295 cu. ft.

    pwede na po ba yan?

    parang ang liit pag ini imagine ko sa metros, baka tumaob lang sa likod ng xwind huhu

    pwede yan kung WALANG SUB.the magnet of the sub still occupies volume...kaya THEORETICALLY,kasama dapat sa bilang un...

    gawin mo nang mga 0.9-1.0 ang volume...

    sub boxes should never use nails...dahil sa bass...gumagalaw po ang mga dikit niyan...which will be bad.

    dapat po ay mga srews ang gamit.ung mga black ones.every 2-4inches po ang layo nang bawat screw sa isang box. madmai po talagang screws kailangan.pero bago lagyan ng screw..lagyan niyo muna ng generous amount of wood glue para wala talagang singaw.

    Ok lang yung na compute mo.. the displacement of the sub won't really affect the enclosure size. Yung JL10w7 na sobrang laki 0.09 lang ang displacement.. sigurado maliit lang ma- occupy ng targa

    you can use nails or screws.. the purpose of these is to hold the mdf together when the wood glue is drying up. The strength and secret of the box comes from the wood glue and not the nails or screws.

    If you're going to use screws, be sure to pre-drill the hole. Don't forget to use sealant on the edges

    pahabol kung di mu pa nagagawa, sa ACE hardware SM Pamp meron LIQUID NAILS (forgot the brand). Better than wood glue...it sets fast and okay ang dikit. The gypsum screw looks like the metal screw, black ang color (I suppose this is what glenn is refering to). All if not most hardware stores have this screw.

    Thanks, Sir Wildthing..... i bought the liq. nails sa SM pamp sa ace
    and then walang stock ng gympsum screw...nag finishing nails nalang ako and liquid nails tapos silicon.......

    pero yung sa subs may luma labas na hangin sa side and yung negative positive terminal mayoon din po

    is it safe to put some silicon around the subs sa baba nya kung saan didikit yung mdf box?

    kasi wala pa akong carpet kaya siguru luma labas yung air? tama po ba? pero ganda ng tunog hehe

    carpet helps kahit na konti sa pag seal ng box...kaya may singaw talaga yan coz uneven yung surface..pag may carpet na..mejo sisikip yan...

    wag mo lalagyan ng glue pag ilalagay mo na ung sub...sayang naman pag magpapalit ka or whatever...

    put nalang woodglue/liquid nails around the pos-neg terminal para wala ding lalabas dun...ako nga i dont use those terminals...direcho nako mula sub to amp na wire.

    don't use nails minsan natatanggal pagtagal. Use woodscrew yung color black. You can buy them in Raon

Box Size
