Guys and gals, what particular songs do you use (or suggest one should use) when testing a ride's sound setup? whether it be for SPL or SQ setup?

For SQ, I use Livingston Taylor's "Biggest Part of Me" from his Ink album. Thanks to Mickey of Mickey's autosounds for this tip.
Steely Dan's Aja or Gaucho albums, or Donald Fagen's The Nightfly album, (and all their later CDs) for SQ. Best sounding CDs in our collection IMO, though the music might not appeal to everyone.
i have a IASCA CD, you know the Int'l Auto Sounds . . competition, i think it has 25 tracks, each track is specifically created to test your audio setup, example track: "this voice should come from the right. . . blah blah" it means that sound should come from the right speakers not from the left or the mid, it has also tracks for SQL and for the SPL, it is a nice CD
Thanks for the replies! Now to try finding some of these CDs (esp. the EMMA & IASCA's)...![]()
I wonder if they still sell the old Chesky Labs or Sheffield Labs Test Discs.
I have the Sheffield Labs one which I use to test from time to time.
wild- gamit din before dito kung may competition ang Shefield Labs na Claire Marlo.
Haha meron ako niyan pero hindi for testing.![]()
Yung sa akin ay "My Disc" - The Sheffield / A2TB Test Disc.
90's pa to eh baka marami nang bago.
