    Sound deadening project... DIY lang
took me two days to fully deaden the 5 doors of the eve and all the flooring...
my father also helped in the process, kaya less work...haha..

asphalt based sound deadener ( 14 pcs all in all)

    doors

after vacuuming and removing dirts under the carpet, installed the deadener on the flooring

well worth it... ang tahimik sa loob cabin... sumakit kamay ko dahil daming clips nang mga plastic trimming
need to be careful dahil madali maputol mga clips.

i also put fiber glass insulation in between the asphalt deadener and the carpet for additional acoustic and heat insulation.
i can vouch now na meh difference ang sound deadening.

Ang galing, sir! I wish I could do that too on our vehicles. But I am afraid that I might not put back those parts in their proper places, ako naman ang ma-dead.hehe

the sound deadening material is around 2.5 kilos each... so 14 pieces would weigh 35 kilos... wala naman problem about sa added weight dahil diesel eh, malakas torque...hindi ramdam ang additional na bigat... that's another story pag gas ang kakabitan.. hahaha.

yung 250 pesos ay per sheet which measures 26in X 35in, 2mm thick... isang ganun per door, sobra pa nga eh...

sino interesado kumuha ng deadening sheet, mag enjoy kayo for sure...hahaha...

    bro,

i'm interested on what you've done both inside the cabin & under the hood. Do you happen to know who can
do the labor job while i can buy the materials from you ?

most accessory shops can do that for you!!!

i don't think its advisable to place that under the hood.. remember its asphalt base and can melt anytime

on the firewall side, you place it inside the cabin!!
