What's the BEST Sub out there in the market?

It's like asking what chain sells the best hamburger... some will say mcdo, some jollibee, others hotshots and brothers..etc..

It's a matter of personal preference and what will suit your need..

Personally, among the brands that are available LOCALLY, I choose:

JL Audio(w7 only) and DLS for SQ
Solobaric L7 for SPL

When I was still in Manila, I had a Kicker Solobaric S12L7...
Is that still good?

There aren't a lot of like minded individuals with regards to cars and sound setups here where I live. So I can really talk to the locals about it.

well...as most people here would say...JL would be a popular choice....

id get that if i have the money...

but sometimes (well...most of the time...), nasa set up na rin...ive heard the cheapest sub creating very good sound and ive heard expensive subs go to waist because of wrong box measurements and amp settings...

anybody here using not so run of the mill subs?

i know digital designs is already available in Manila (very expensive though), then you have the current popular non mainstream like adire, resonant engineering and there is one more i can't remmeber

those are at least 25 grand a piece i think. ouch. what's worse is they can tak tons of power, so the amps must have been huge....and expensive.
