mga boss naisip ko lang kasi feeling ko talaga nagulangan kami s banawe nung mga boys na nsa kalye lang offering diff. services. kc ung HU namin pina-check namin kasi wlang sounds.so we ended up na ung mismong HU n pala ung may sira.so ang gnwa namin bumili kami ng new HU and then pina-install namin s kanila.tapos NOW they are offering n bumili daw ng noise supressor nga 750 daw..ang reason nila kc nakakasira daw ng speakers kung wlang noise supressor and pati HU masisira din.(wala akong alam s ganito kaya feel free to educate me about this.LOL) so bngyan muna namin ng 500pesos and then bumalik siya dala ang noise supressor n KENWOOD ang tatak and ukhang tinanggal lng s ibang kotse kasi mukhang hindi talaga brand new.ang mahal naman nun..kaasar! sinasabi ko sa dad ko kaso mahina din kasi sya s ganun nagbigay pa ng tip.eto pa ung lagayan ng front panel ng new HU namin hndi binalik...so magkano ba talaga ang mga presyo ng noise supressor?ok n b ung kenwood n kinabit?nakakatawa pa pla sabi nla sira ung 1 speaker namin ive tried kanina may sounds naman lahat. thanks in advance!

next time dont deal with the tambays. Deal with the shop.
No such thing as noise supressor to protect HU and speakers from damage. Speakers are protected by crossovers. Normally part of the speaker set. Most amplifiers have them as features. Some high end systems have seperate crossovers for the ultimate in flexibility and tuning.
There are noise supressors. Used as a last resort when your system produces unwanted noise. Typically frowned upon in car audio.

March 5th, 2008 12:58 AM #3yup i agree na nagoyo ka nga.. most often than not eh mga madadaya ung mga tambay na nag ooffer ng kung anu anong services nila sa tabi tabi... may nakilala din ako minsan na ganyan but i was lucky na hindi ako dinadaya...kasi minsan may pinaaus ako sa kakilala ko eh napaka baba ng price nya compared sa iba ko na tinanungan na tambay boys din... ang sabi pa sakin nun buti dito ka napadpad sa bandang place ko. kasi kung sa iba eh nanganganak ung sira ng sasakyan... pero kung wala kau kakilala mas mabuti na sa shops kau magtanong tanong....

March 5th, 2008 11:34 AM #7Nakakatakot talaga ang mga ambulant na vendors. Walang warranty and di mo alam kung GSM o hindi ang "surplus" na bibilin mo.
Baka di natin alam, habang nagkakabit sila ay ninanakaw na man ang iba mong gamit at sira daw ang mga dating gumgana, pabibilin ka ng di naman kailangan, at iba pa.

March 5th, 2008 11:32 PM #8what they have installed to your car is not a NOISE SUPPRESSOR but rather a VOLTAGE FILTER... if you take a look inside that device it only contains capacitor, diode, fuse and a small coil that acts as a voltage filter, modern HU systems have these devices "built-in" so no need to install an external filter.. this device is commonly attached to HU with TAPE decks or cars that are NOT YET EQUIPPED with IC REGULATORS but cars with IC Regulators and CD/MP3 DECK HU do not require this device... They come together with the HU unit when you buy and you cannot buy them separately.. This means what they have sold you is already USED or came from another used Unit...Also having this device installed will commonly cause "STATIC NOISE" since their function is conflicting with the "built in" static suppressor in the HU. I'm sorry for your experience..

and may i add, ang totoong noise supressor/ground loop isolator na maliit, cylinder ang shape nasa 300 ata, yung medyo malaki na kwadrado naman nasa 450-500, brand new hah as in naka-plastic pa po yun.
basta lesson learned sir mayanne... never deal with banawe tambays. kahit ano pa pong sabihin nila, for sure may hidden agenda yang mga yan. go directly to shops para kahit pano, may receipt and warranty.

Kahapon lang andun ako to buy a new H4 headlamp bulb, dami nang lumalapit sa akin nag-aalok ng kung anu-ano, from roof racks to rubber stoppers for the hood. I just wave them off.

yung wala pa ko alam sa oto, pinaalign ko sa kanila yung bumper ko. in the end, nawalan pa ko ng mga clip and parang walang nangyari then when i tried to argue with them... pinalibutan ako ng mga tambay. kaya yun, lesson learned the hard way... hindi na talaga!!!

March 16th, 2008 01:01 AM #18kung wala ka naman noticeable na noise during operation ng HU eh ok na yan dyan..to test, try turning on the radio and turn the volume down to "0" and listen to any humming sound while accelerating or during driving.. kung meron ka madinig na humming sounds, kailangan tanggalin yan.. also if your HU has "aux input" it is possible that when you attach external device like MP4/MP3, Ipod or Portable dvd players you will have humming sound to what most people would call "static" sound...
