installing AUX audio input

hi this possible? any one does this? originally kasi yung head unit ko, walang AUX Audio Input, ang meron lang is cd player, possible kaya to dito sa phil? kung meron saan po kaya pwede magpagawa? meron po ba nabibilhan dito ng aux input adapter?

Remove your factory radio from the dashboard of your car. The exact method for removing the radio from your car depends on the make, model, and year of your vehicle, so the process can only be generalized here. In most cases the radio will be held into the dash by four bolts or screws. These are located on the perimeter of the radio, behind the trim panels that cover the dashboard of your car. Trim panels usually can be pried off rather easily with a panel tool or thin-bladed putty knife, exposing the screws holding the radio in place. It's recommended that you research your car to see if there is any information available on radio removal before you begin. If you can't find anything for free, crutchfield.com sells the radio and speaker removal instructions for most cars for a small fee (free when purchasing gear you'll install in the car).

Unplug the CD changer cable (if so equipped) from the back of the radio. You'll be able to identify this cable because it will be the same size and shape as the cable for the auxiliary input adapter.

Feed the input cable (the one you will plug devices into) into the opening of the dash that the radio came out of a work it behind the dashboard to where you want to connect your devices at. The glove box is usually a good spot for the end of the cable -- with the glove box open, push the cable down until you see the end, then grab it and pull through.

Place the auxiliary input adapter's converter box into the radio opening and place out of the way of the radio. There is usually some space below and behind where the radio fits.

Plug the auxiliary input adapter into the back of the radio with the plug connected to the converter box. Carefully place the radio back into the dash opening.

Test operation of the radio and the auxiliary input before putting the dash back together. Troubleshoot according to the manual if you have any difficulties.

Tips & Warnings
Some auxiliary input adapters will have a series of switches that must be set correctly for specific vehicle types. Be sure to read the manufacturer's instructions before installation.

Stock radio pa? It might be cheaper if you buy a new HU na lang.

And do you really need to keep it? An xcarlink costs around 4000 petot. Meanwhile on another site: Pioneer deh1350 (2011) with aux and cd headunit - 3600.00

Xcarlinks are for those who want to keep the stock look especially with the integrated HUs that most new cars have.

its too expensive pala for that adapter, ill just buy a new head unit na lang po siguro, kung ganun rin lang kamahal, pioneer na brand po ba ok na HU? or do you have any suggestion?

Hit or miss ang electronics ng CDRKing. May nagbaklas na ng mga HU nila to see what's inside. It's not nice to say the least

Pioneer ka na. Kung kapos talaga sa budget madaming second hand dyan.

Maganda yung suggestion ni peejay na HU upgrade...pero kung budget constrained ka, try mo yung USB-to-FM devices available sa CDR king. Yun ang babasa ang USB audio mo and send it sa FM band ng radyo. Nakakabit lang yun sa cigarette lighter port for power. Audio fidetilty is not so much (parang radio broadcast lang)

for now i've been using that usb-fm transmitter. di ko lang type ang sound reproduction nya saka hirap i browse yung laman ng usb stick. ty for the input sir Phoenix

If it does, you can just buy the appropriate plug for it (malamang banana jack) and then match it sa source - which in your case, the best ang cellphone or ipod or mp3 player. Kasi madaling ilipat or ibrowse ang music content sa mga ganung music player.

2 din yun malapad na may screen na parang tv, 1 din yung the usual manipis lang with knobs and all.

i see...pero naguluhan ako sa HU ko. malapad sya pero walang screen. parang nilakihan lang yung sakop na space
