It automatically and digitally corrects signals from the OEM HU(which only has like treble and bass controls hehe). And it also allows your oem to interface with other techie gadgets like ipod or sat radio(I think kelangan mo yun SES). Last time I had an audio setup was about 3 years ago, with JL on the RAV4. Since then, sa home theater na lang muna ako hehe
