HU app questions

Hello guys, I just got our trailblazer LT there's HU included, as per my dealer it's a OEM smart eye dvd monitor w/ navigation and bluetooth. I was reading the manual its very generic but says its developed by RoadRover. When I checked it, I realised it's bare, walang naka install na kahit na anong app (waze/google maps/spotify etc). Is this usual? If so, how to i download those apps? I was expecting kasi it would look like more or less like growl but hind eh.

Pasensya na mga boss kung ignorante yung tanong ko, 1st time lang na sasakyan namin na may HU eh.

Android OS ba yung HU mo? Pwede ka mag-add ng apps sa Android HU just like in regular Android tablets/phones.

Sir, according sa manual its android. Kaya lang nung tinignan ko kanina walang any android logo, alam ko po pag on pa lang nung HU may lalabas nang logo. Though when i connected it sa phone it requested agad for an android phone, so i guess it is.

smuiv wala pong icon ng google play and when i tried to connect sa iphone ko via usb, it says its not compatible. I was reading the manual kaya lang yung instructions putol. Eto po yung itsura ng HU:

Ganda ng HU ah. After market ba to smuiv? Ano yung brand?

May tv-out ba? Papalitan ko sana yung AVT after ng warranty period.

Oo aftermarket. Complete boss, may external speaker (front and back) output pa at subwoofer. Madali isetup ang sound system. TV out meron din puede ka pumili ng internal digital TV/analog o wala. Binili ko wala kasi may video in/out naman linagyan ko ng RCA digital tv. Meron syang iPod connector, 4 USB output 2 internal micro SD storage, may GPS na. Android kasi so may equalizer sya, puede ka mag DL ng mp3 player with equalizer, so no need processor for sound setup, puede din bili ka ng USB camera plug in mo sya sa USB mo may dash cam ka na recognize na ng HU, record sya sa ext storage mo. Walang wala AVT dito

Yung Growl nagbebenta ng ganito. Pero binili ko sa HK mas mura dun

Baka Android OS pero stripped-down version. Ano ang laman ng Apps?

Ano ang laman ng Settings? Baka may option to install apps using APK installer thru USB port.

Does it have google play? If not you cant install anything on it.

Yup, it has Google playstore. Android OS HU is like a Android tablet or phone. You can install any apps for Android, waze, Spotify, yahoo mail, games, mp3 player, etc. You can even DL a dashcam apps and connect a camera into the HU and it will record it via an external storage. It can even have a voice command real cool, and can mirror a phone. Plug in a USB phone or stick it can be your hotspot, plug in an obd2 port for your car and DL a obd2 apps it can tell your car speed, fuel, fc consumption, fault codes, etc.
