thanks. i wonder how much the 6950 or the 5950 will cost. will check them out this afternoon.
go for the 7950. It's around 11k although medyo hard to find siya. It's a good buy na considering na may usb na kasama and you can control your ipod from the hu.
update ko lang: i got the 7950. binebenta sa akin ng 12,500. natawaran ko ng 11,300. very happy with the head unit. looks swank hehehe
dati ko kasing HU around 2.3V pre-amp out. the 7950 ata puts out 4v preamp out. laking difference sa tunog bigla. very very happy.
parang mas gusto ko yung 4950 ng pioneer kasi parang mas bagay siya sa kulay ng auto ko (which is bavarian red)
malugay.
thanks. although medyo may problema siya connecting with the ipod. so i got a 4GB flash drive from cdr-king instead (kingston brand, only P1,780 at cdr-king). very happy. plus factor pa na 4v pre-amp output ng 7950. ang amp ko ay dakilang v12 lamang pero gumanda ang SQ talaga. dinig na dinig ko ngayon ang minor instruments ng mga kanta. very happy with the HU.Originally Posted by ssaloon
btw, the kingston 4GB flash disk from cdr-king costs only P1,780. kahapon nagpunta kami sa abensons. nakita ko exact same model ng kingston (pati kulay -- yung parang purple) P,3800 binebenta ng abensons. whoa ang laki ng tubo ng abensons. (considering may tubo na ang cdr-king, mukhang more than 100% ang mark-up ng abensons.) note na parehong mall-based itong dalawang tindahang ito.
class A yung sa cdr king, and pansinin mo, 1 week replacement warranty lang sila
BTTT, ano yung problem sa ipod connection?

are you sure about the class a thing? anyway, its been more than a week and okay pa naman yung flash drive. actually, its an exact copy (if it is indeed a copy). from the product itself, to the packaging, to the cardboard of the packaging. parehong pareho.
THE 7900BT looks great! what's the difference between the 7900BT and the 7950UB (aside from the colored screen)? might put that one sa kabilang kotse if its a good buy
OTOH, it seems the 9800BT does not have USB inputs (based on the sites i saw online). now that's weird considering it should be more 'top of the line" than the 7900BT. or am i just reading the HU's features wrongly?
