Search mo siguro dito ung blackbox dvr thread.

Btw i also live in manila and i just make sure na nagmemenor ako palagi kapag may pedicab or tricycle sa paligid ko. Also equip your car with a strong horn para mag dalawang isip ung mga tricycles at pedicab.

Thank you for the info.

Pwede kaya yung ganun?

Pwede yan, and you don't need a separate monitor. BUT you need to put a power switch. Ang set up kasi ng HU pag may rear cam e priority ang camera input so pag may signal from the camera e it will display the video image from the camera. So kung nakakabit yung front camera sa input terminal na gamit ng rear camera (in parallel, using a rca splitter plug) e need mo lang gayahin yung set up ng rear camera where it will only turn on when you shift in reverse. The solution is to put a simple switch to the front camera power supply. When you need the front camera you just need to flick the switch ON and viola! front camera video will be displayed on the same monitor used by the rear camera.

pero kung talagang need mo lang ay distance bet your front bumper at ng tryk, why not install back up sensors sa front bumper mo, you will hear the diff of dist from the beeps with your eyes will always be looking in front. hanga masanay ka na at kahit ano pang car ang gamitin mo kaya mo ng mag estimate

Mahirap rin mag tantya using the camera.

whatever you want, either camera or proximity sensors can be installed in the front bumper. pakabitan mo ng sariling power line at switch or kaya plug na lang sa cigarette lighter as needed.

kaya lang hindi ka ba ma-distract sa video or beeps? nade-develop naman ang skills sa pagtansya ng distance. nasa practice lang yan. you can gauge distance from sides through your side mirrors.

Usually sa unahang kanan ang mejo nahihirapan ako mag estimate lalo na kapag kailangan ko mag maneuver sa masikip na kalye specially pag me objects (tryk, pedestrian, or mga illegal vendors) on both sides.

Nahihirapan tantyahin yung distance sa harap? When in doubt, don't.

Practice lang yan TS. But if you insist on installing a gadget, tama sila yung beeping sensors na lang kesa sa cam and monitor. You can judge the distance by sound alone, di mo pa aalisin tingin mo sa harap.

not far fetched, suv's like the lexus has a front camera plus forward radar, some is even equipped with a sonar so you may gauage how deep the water level is before you can ford it. even the 2014 camaro is equipped with a front facing camera....

after infamous sensational accident of a tahoe and escalade driven by a mom accidentally backed up and killed a toddler, reverse radar and camera is a must by law for suv in america and some like lexus went the extra mile.

have you driven a full size suv or even the brand new tbz...? it is extremely hard to guage the distance of the front(and im 6' already) and there is a blind spot in the front where you cannot see an ordinary elementary school boy, hence you need to be extremely careful when drivingmin the city.
