    I'm going for a 2 amp setup for my car. Ask ko lang your opinions if tama yung gagawin kong connections.


    Here's the Connections for Powering the amps.


    And Here's the Connections for the speakers

    PS: do i even need a capacitor for this setup? ayaw ko lang kasi maubusan agad yung battery ko.

    Excellent!

    Just a little correction and your on your way to booom boooom.

    1. From the battery(+) you have to install an "in-line fuse" on your power cable(red cable) no longer than 18" from the (+) terminal. A 35 ampere fuse will do.

    2. "Capacitor" need to be ground also. Make sure same gauge as your amp' power cable.

    3. Your ground wire. You dont have to run a ground wire all the way to the (-) baterry terminal, cut at least 3 feet of ground wire then bolt it on the chassis. Example: Your back seat bolts or anything that sturdy, make sure to remove paint for better contact.

    4. Above all use "crimp-on ring terminals" for better connection.

    Thanks for that positive reply sir. Indeed capacitor needs to be grounded based on my research.

    Some questions pa po.

    1.) how do i connect my subwoofers to the amp? because i'm confused on the term "bridging" kasi yan yung mostly na sinasabi sa akin. do i need this kind of connection or should i just connect it to their respective channels kasi medyo di malinaw sa akin on how to connect these.

    2.) Is capacitor only needed on the sub amp or is it alright to connect them to the whole system? (excluding the HU of course)

    3.) Do i really need a capacitor for this setup or it'll just run fine without a capacitor?

    4.) Comparing with the capacitor and no-capacitor setup, How fast will the battery drain?

    5.) Do i need to charge/shock the capacitor before using it?

    If the dash lights dim every time your sub hits a strong bass beat its sure sign the stereo is demanding more current. So your capacitor is the easiest way remedy. Capacitor installed next right to the amp., does a better job supplying short burst of current and it doesnt have to overcome the internal resistance of your alternator and battery or travel through 20 feet of wire to get to your amp. So its a good idea.

    Capacitor- if you hook up properly it will charge it with your 12 volts battery, just dont charge with your household electricity or you will destroy it big time.

    How to wired your capacitor? Installed it right before the amp for the SUBWOOFER ONLY.

    Bridging the amp on a 2 channel is to connect the (+) positive wire of your sub on the number one channel and connect the (-) negative wire of your sub to the number two channel, thats is a parallel wiring. With that your subs gets more power than it would.

    Hi..1) refer to your amps manual about bridging coz amps are not made the same...try to find out the minimum load (if 1, 2, 4 ohms stable) for bridging.. kung pwidi ang dalwang sub na maload mo sa amp in bridge mode..( eg. if you have 2 subs each 4 ohms single coil..if paralled 2 ohms total but your amp only accept 4 ohms at bridge mode..then overload yong amp mo..(iinit yan ng husto kailangan mo ng stand-fan sa gilid..LOL).. theres no harm stereo mode it depends kung gaano kalakas ang ibibigay ng amp bawat channel at may x-over ka naman..

    2) once hook-up lahat nakinabang... tingnan mo yong diagram mo diba iisang source lang nangaling ang positive at negative (sa isang battery lang)..but its best nearest to your amps..

    3) again theres lots of debate about caps.but if you have one why not use it...pero kung naghihingalo ang charging system mo..caps are not the answer instead sort-out your alternator first..

    4) depend kung gaano kalaki ang system mo..at kung gaano kalakas magpaptugtug..if you have 2 amps i would suggest another battery not the capacitor..or big alternators more batteries then capacitors ..

    5)yes...if you have brandnew caps they usually include a diode..but when i lost mine an interior(ceiling) bulb works fine for me..connect mo lang sa line positive at positve ng caps..(bulb will light-up for few secs. and wait until it fades-out then the caps fully charge now.. then connect the positive)..discharging id just used the bulb again connected across (-) and (+) wailt until bulb fades out..

    hope this helps..hentay ka rin sa iba baka meron then silang magandang idea..

    Very good! But you'll need a distribution block for easier connection w/ all the amp and the capacitor like those picture below.

    Hi..have you heard this ready made bandpass? (research and design it yourself is better) coz.. I've heard an ALPINE 2-12" sub factory made bandpass enclosure same design as above.. walang masyadong output at ang plexiglass malakas magflex(lalo kang mawalan ng output)..

    Regarding about bridging always be safe read the manual..although Bridging (best) produce more power than the normal two channel mode(stereo) theres no problem on how many subwoofer you connect! its all about how much load(resistance/ohms) your amplifier would accept..

    If i were you try your system first without the external cross-over..instead just used the built in x-over in the amps..then compare using the external x-over..you need to remember external cross-overs are filters..but your amp has another internal x-over filter bare in mind your separates they have external x-over as well..this is not distilled water that needs to go lots of filtering process in order to have a clean bright water...LOL but our aim to let all frequencies(without frequency loss) go out to your speaker...

    About your fusing does your 35amps enough for the whole system? coz..you need to add all fuses altogether..say for example..1st amplifier has a 25amp fuse attached and the 2nd amplifier has a 30amp fuse then you need put a 55amp in-line fuse..
