October 13th, 2007 04:10 PM #1i have stock speakers for my accord 2k, (6.5" front speakers with tweeters sa dash and 6x9 speakers sa rear)
if i change my rear speakers to a 3way coaxial 6x9 speakers, would the bass be improved compared to stock 6x9 speakers? (my old stock rear speaker is 60watts ata). im planning to buy sony xplod 6x9 3 way coaxial speaker 100 watts
has anyone tried sony 3 way speakers?
ano po kaya recommend nyo brand or mas maganda upgrade na talaga for a 10" or 12" subs.
mejo tight budget, just replaced my stock 2din unit to a kenwood 2 din.
please advise sound masters

wait niyo rin other gurus ng SQ hehe hope this help sirs

October 14th, 2007 01:20 PM #7Any speaker, even a sub will work with as little as 1 watt of power. So yes you can use your HU to power those speakers. But it will be seriously under powered and will sound terrible. Under powering your speakers can also damage them. To get the most out of your speakers, match them with the appropriate amp.

October 15th, 2007 03:15 PM #8same follow up as forbidden smoke:
wala ba magiging problem if we use 3way coaxial (cguro 120watts) sa rear and have it powered by headunit, i mean sa sound quality.
would the 3way speaker perform nice, though its power is not maximized.
salamat gurus sa reply.
newbie din thoughts kasi. parang dami newbie same questions in mind
