Do you have an external amp or it would be powered by the HU alone? If so, a advisable set of budget speakers that would be powered by the Head Unit alone is the Infinity Reference Series speakers. It's a low wattage, high sensitivity, 2ohm set of speakers. Very ideal to be driven with the HU's limited power.
Mas malakas po siya tutunog compared sa previous speakers ninyo and halos same lang ang SRP nilang dalawa.

i bought the car used from a friend, and it was kind of setup already but i didn't really bother with it. It already had a tweeters, subwoofer and an amplifier (see pic) and it is using the stock HU which is an Alpine CDE-9852. I'm just looking for something not expensive but sounds good.

sira na daw according sa electrician. both lower half of front speakers were badly corroded. the rust ate through the bottom half of the speakers where the the bottom half of the cone has become detached from the metal frame. i have no idea how much speakers are as i have never needed to replace any from our previous cars. how much would speakers like the one that the car came with would cost these days?

Mukha nga kaiangan nang ma replace iyan luma. While you're at it with the electrician might as well check the other gears that needs replacement or repair as well. Those old ES series components you have cost around 3,800-4k bnew.

Where are you from? Maybe we could recommend a reliable car audio installer near your area so you can check the prices and relay your queries.

To have an idea re. speaker prices visit the mickey's autosound website.
