Thinking of using this to run focals
For me, it was Alpine's PDX-series of amplifiers that ushered in the era of Class D full-range amplifiers back when it was first introduced. You can say it's the first Class D full-range amplifier that actually sounded great and not plagued by the high-frequency limitations of "usual" Class D of those times (that's why usually nasa mono- lang ang mga Class D).

There's both pro's and con's. But let's start with the minus muna. Since this was part of the "pioneering" Class D, you can say that the Class D nowadays are better. But your #1 problem here is that the first edition of the PDX was plagued by noise problems. Ito #1 problem ng PDX dati - some of them are suffering from high noise floors that can only be fixed by getting your unit replaced and wishing you don't encounter it again.

Now the good is that.. you have one of the better Class D amplifiers. In fact, your performance should still be better than Php10-20k of Class D amplifiers in our current time. While the newer Alpine PDX/F series uses Class D modules designed in-house by Alpine, the early Alpine PDX technology was using Bang & Olufsen's ICEPower modules - and those aren't cheap. If that didn't ring a bell, that means that the first PDX was using the Ferrari of Class D at its time and simply reverse-engineered that to create its current technology.

#1 improvement should be that everything else is better. Your bass should be clearer, your vocals should be more open, etc.

For prices, use Mickey's website (Mickey's Autosound | Because we love car audio) as a SRP guide. I also use it as a price reference when recommending stuff to people.

After that, go deaden your doors. The benefits of deadening is that your bass and vocals will be.. better. In percentage terms.. no idea.. probably 50% better? It's usually the second step after getting aftermarket speakers for most people.
