question, i have a 96 corolla xl..it has a pioneer something 6x9 speakers at the rear and none at the front..i got a targa something 10 inch sub from daichi megamall, 3k ata bili ko dun noon and my uncle made me a box and got another pair of 6x9's from a friend's old camry.made me a simple box but placed the sub inside the box and just made a hole for the air daw.he made two holes again to fit the cannibalised 6x9's and placed them on top with the cones facing out.pwede ba un, 3 speakers in a box with the sub literally IN the box? ndi ko lang mgamit kasi wla pa akong mabiling amp kasi mejo walang buget.may mga good 2nd hand amps daw sa raon e budget ko pa lang is around P1.5k-2k.ok lang ba magcanvas sa raon? tsaka wirings ata nun mahal kasi ndi daw pwede basta basta kasi makapal ata ginagamit.nagcanvas din ako ng ganun sa blade sa shangrila mall,umaabot ata ng P900.ganun ba talaga mga un? plus i dont really know if there are parts i lack pa or if un lang muna kailangan ko.i also dont want to go over budget kasi konting bayo lang naman gusto ko.basta may kotse ka na tumatakbo ng maayos,may aircon at may ok na sounds.ayoko naman ng magarang boom boom sounds at baka mabaril pa ako o wat.hehehe!

ingat ka sa mga 2nd hand amp sa raon, yung iba dun repaired na, tapos pag test mo gagana , pag uwi mo at na set up mo na, dun mo makikita ang problema. at wag ka bibili sa hindi tindahan talaga. meron mga asungot din dun like sa banawe, kakausapin ka na lang bigla at mag tatanong ng kung ano ang hanap mo.

i can't believe it ako na yata ang pinaka newbie sa lahat...any suggestion sa soundsetup ng pickup ko...budget is around 30k...gusto ko maganda quality and may bass na din..pero di kelangan yung gumagapang at tumitingin mga tao..what i mean is that just the clarity and good performance inside the car..guys suggest naman alam ko itong thread na to ang pinakaactive sa lahat...since im a newbie sa car soundsetup pls help me..sana may marating ang budget ko at indi ako magsisi hehehe..pls help guys...

hi! meron kasi akong lumang videoke machine na hindi na nagagamit. may mga malalaking konzert speakers yun. napaisip ako baka pwede ko pagawan ng box yung speakers para magamit sa kotse. pwede kaya o waste of money lang?

Sa budget mong yan maganda na set -up mo iyong loud and clear na yan depede sa headunit , seperates speakers, poweramplifier,subwoofer at box. Mag audition ka muna sa mga nag iintalled ng sound set -up . maraming mga kilala diyan at may budget set-up. GOODLUCK.

The answer is no. You cannot mixed your regular speakers into into your sub in one box.

Your uncle he just made you a bandpass boxes a designed to give you a very good sound; but they can also be designed to trade bandwidth for volume if, he knows all the trick of doing good boxes ( not just a box). That means they can play a narrow frequency range very loudly. Many people who are looking for volume over sound quality choose bandpass boxes. Also, it's never a good idea to built your own bandpass box unless he knows how to match it with a subwoofer; if you use that bandpass enclosure, make sure it should be designed (volume cu. ft.) specifically for your sub.

tol, i have an old school subwwofer JBL SB-5 350 w 4ohms . I know it is a bandpass box and good for sound quality subwoofer. It has 3 ported hole in front of the box. Not too many own this subwoofer .I also use it in Home theather as sub driven by an old school SOUNDSCRAFTMEN POWER AMPLIFIER PCR 800 MOSFET POWER AMP. 300watts per channel 4 ohms it sounds good.

Tol newbie din ako about sa sound set up.Ok nman yung sounds ko sa car kaso wala lang amplifier and sub woofer pero maganda naman audio player ko (pioneer) and stock lng sa back and front.. May nakita ako sa E-bay 2.5k lng sa SNY kay Sunny. Subwoofer with built in amplifier na ,,balak ko umorder para at least may improvement.Ayoko din yung boom boom na sounds basta clear and ok..

Surely its nice, but I will pretty much always suggest ported over bandpass. Although a bandpass enclosure may be more effecient, which means more output, it is not going to be good at all for a sound quality installation but is closed enought. You can get more output than a sealed enclosure while still maintaining good sound quality with a properly built ported enclosure.

So I always advice other's to buy a properly built enclosure I mean one that is made specifically for that sub. I would go to a car audio shop or experienced wood worker and have one custom made for that sub for the best results. A bandpass is a combination of sealed-ported and only allows a narrow band of frequencies to come through. Extremely hard to build and get right.

Your karaoke speakers are 8 ohms. OHMs is the measure of resistance in an electrical circuit. Your amp is rated at a specific output at 4 ohms, your speakers produce twice that resistance. If you had 2 8 OHM speakers in that circuit, your resistance drops to 4 OHMs, but must be wired in parallel never in series. In other words, you'll be fine. You can actually turn your two pairs of 8 ohm speakers into a 4 ohm set of speakers by installing a pair on each channel *in parallel*....again not in SERIES.

Nice power amplifier . If you could pair it with a JL AUDIO subwoofer its really good. Most of my friend in B15U .com NJTUNERS.COM . THE SENTRA SYNDICATE. use JL AUDIO subwoofer.
