wats my best option?

good day sa mga audiophiles.. relatively new in tsikot. may question lng po sa inyo. mejo marami ako tanong so pasensya na..

im thinking of upgrading my audio sa 06 civic. meron na ako sub, amp at seps d2sa bhay (from a previous car).. i want to install my sub (kc sayang naman), prob is bago pa un koche at nanghihinayang naman ako magkalampag.. btw my sub is 12" in a 2 cu.ft sealed lng pero tatakot p din ako magkalampag kc parang mahirap tanggalin.

so, my plan is to install my seps and buy a new pair 4 d rear, then sell my sub at amp (alpine kuno) to get a quality amp to drive the 2 pairs of seps. 4 d seps m planning to get dls (ref, or ms6 kung magkapera). i just want to hear defined notes kht wla un "oomph". (listening to classic rock) ok na kaya yan kht wlang sub?

alternatively, do u know a way 4 me to install my sub without causing rattles to the car? (un financially feasible sana and does not involve substantial job sa car) maraming salamat and sorry for the long post!

yup. your best option is going for clarity. which is, yung second option mo. get good seps and rear speakers.

no need to upgrade your rear. just invest in good front staging, and a good amp to vire up your speakers and sub.

try mo crystal csc60 na seps. Its way cheaper and meron naring bass(adjust mo nalang sa crossover ng head unit or amp if you dont want lower frequencies. Power them just right and you wont need a sub anymore.Invest ka lang in a good front stage, gaya ng sabi ng ssaloon, kahit wag mo na palitan yung speakers sa likod

Kalampag? Mabigat naman yung kahon hindi kakalampag yan unless you are going 120kph and encounter a steep angle.

maraming salamat po sa mga reply! yes right now m clinging to my second option, parang yoko na ring mag sub kc IMHO it causes rattles cguro by loosing screws in the car o however....

about not changing my rear speakers, sayang naman kc i already have a pair of seps here.. matino naman cya for the most part kaya lng kulang sa bass so m thinking na lagay ko na lng sya sa likod for "filling." IMHO maganda naman un tweets nya kaya nga lng un midbass ang problema...

so, now that mukhang m not installing a sub anymore, the appropriate question is anu masuggest nyo na front seps that would give me just enough lows without a sub?? and good highs also.. aside from ms6, wat wud be my best bet??

ive read good things about crystal ssx.. havent auditioned one though.. anu po ba ang take nyo d2? how does it compare to dls ref or ms6? tia!

bago ko binili yung crystal seps, nag audition muna ako ng dls ms6. not much difference to my ears (well siguro sa seasoned audiophiles meron). mas maganda lows ng crystal pero midrange and highs lamang ang ms6. I ended up buying the crystals kasi almost the same lang sound quality and i just cant justify spending twice as much for the ms6 na konti lang lamang sa sound quality

sir bratski, wer is a good place to buy crystal speakers? and would you be kind enough to let me know if the system u auditioned have comparable drivers, like same amp, radio , track, etc? because if it is, then i think its d best bang for the buck. i dont know much about crystal products. ive only read quite a lot of good things about crystal ssx,but as i mentioned earlier, i havent auditioned any. maganda nga un ms6 but for a student like me it is pricey.

btw, un rear speakers po kc ng car is 6.5." as i mentioned, i have a pair of seps here and i want 2 put them sa rear. im thinking of enclosing it. not sure lng kung pwd sya vented. tingin nyo ba ok lng vented since m not inclined to use a sub? or just install it there na naka free air? seps are vpc 172s.

actually hindi ko nakita yung amp na ginamit dun sa pag audition ko. sa araneta ave may nagbebenta ng crystal seps at 5.5k yata. I cant remember na yung speakers sa rear deck pwede naman free air dahil yung trunk will serve as the enclosure
