    hello guys,
balak namin bumili ng used bmw x5, 2004-2006 model, diesel. any tips how to maintain it or what to look at? ask ko lang kung pano ba e maintain ito dahil we were planning outside casa na lang pag mag papa service. every 3 months or 6 months ba ang pms nito? gano kaya ka mahal mag maintain nito? this is our 2nd car, our other car is ford ranger t6 2013. dream ride kasi namin ito, pero kung ang pag me maintain naman is sakit sa ulo/bulsa eh baka PASS na lang hehehe. everyday din gagamitin kung sakali. thanks

Try searching the web for ownership experiences.

Googling the car would bring you back A LOT of information about it.

Mas ok yung x5 na 7 seater at me sunroof ;)

This should be fair warning to you.

Anyway, for prices on spares give this a call: EUROPEAN MOTORS in Makati City, Metro Manila *yellow-pages.ph

If sa Labas ka bibili puede mo ipa check dun Kung Saan na casa nagpaservice yung history Kung good to buy para no worries

I got my pre-owned X1 from Autohaus two weeks ago. It's a 2012 model and they gave me a 1 year extended warranty plus they check everything, including change oil and filters before it was handed over to me. Look for Russel Tulagan, he is very accommodating and easy to talk to.

Sometimes, BMW CPO is worth it... the one-year warranty at least provides some peace of mind.

The big ticket items for any X5 are the iDrive (check the display to see that there's little burn-in, no dead pixels or etcetera), the turbos (I'm assuming diesel) and fuel system, and the air suspension.

You can replace the air suspension with steel springs... but it's still a hassle if it breaks.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

thanks sir niky for the info. yes we are leaning towards a cpo unit na lang instead sa private or 2nd hand car dealers.

by the way, yung 1st version yung balak namin kunin, e53 ba code nun? medyo mataas pa kasi ang sumunod eh yung e70.

thanks ulet sa mga reply nyo guys. God Bless

Tama sir visit ka dun para check at test drive unit aside dyn me sister company yung prestige in mkt.

Addntl info.
