"10.6M is steep compared to the US price, but exclusivity and being the first in the country might be worth it if you're a big fan of the M2CS. Just weigh the premium against your passion!"

Bro M5 is priced at 14M+, sobrang mahal, I dont know how many they were able to sell. And its not something na car guys talk about in car meets, its still the small M2 pa rin.

I like the M5 because there are only a few sedans which can go as quick and fast as supercars. The ubersedans like the M5 embody extreme carmaking without compromising comfort and class.

If I have the means to buy an M5, I don’t care whatsoever what those “car guys” discuss in car meets. I can get into an M5 in my custom-tailored suit and spunk sports cars into submission in a drag race.

That's an insane price jump for the M2 CS! I think the M2 Competition was like 6.5M?

Ano difference ng M2 CS sa M2 CC? CC ang nakalagay sa pricelist.

Sa ~6M mukhang ok din ang M340i.

Yup, totally agree on this one. You get the M5 because you want a wolf in a labrador clothing. Best of both worlds.

    Or maybe just the M3

For around 7M, you can buy a brand new GTR. Overpriced yung mga M cars dito sa atin.

Increase in hp, and plethora of carbon parts. Plus its limited production.

Actually for 7M you’ll get a used one, not brandnew. A new one is priced at around 8.9, significant increase from 6.7.

I’m currently hanging out with GTR owners, head scratcher daw bakit theres a huge price jump, though they’re not complaining.

Did the math on this. I think kaya naging sobrang taas ng price increase is because the M2 CS falls in the next higher bracket (50%) sa TRAIN tax, compared to 20% for the previous M2 versions:

Assuming zero shipping cost and zero dealer margin:
    M2C - $58,900 - P2.9M - 20% tax bracket under TRAIN. With excise and vat = P4.698M
    M2 CS - $80,000 - P4.1M - 50% tax bracket under TRAIN. With excise and vat = P7.782M

Now assuming $5,000 shipping and 25% margin:
    M2C - (($58,900 + $5,000) * 1.25) = P3.93M. Add 30% excise, 20% TRAIN, 12% VAT = P6.4M (almost bang-on with the P6.5M price)
    M2 CS - (($80,000 + $5,000) * 1.25) = P5.23M. Add 30% excise, 50% TRAIN, 12% VAT = P10.4M (almost bang-on with the P10.5M price)

Despite the 4M price jump, the dealer only makes about P260k in additional profit sa sale of M2 CS vs M2 C.
