Ok lang yun lahat naman driver sa student permit nagstart. For a newbie, basa ka lang lagi sa tsikot.com pero siempre avanza club forum if you want to know more about your vanzy. Marami mababait na experts dito na willing magshare and help you. Ok,... relaxed lang pagpractice driving, kaya mo yan! :)

Thanks po.. Question lang po...napahalik kasi si Vanzie sa poste ng meralco ..may mga gasgas sa fender, yun iba nakuha sa rubbing compound but meron kasi scratch na nakita na yun itim... may DIY remedyo ba yun? :help:

We're about to get our J Vanzie unit next week. Im just thinking what to expect and check when its there na. hehehe

ito suggestion lang. rather than going for that stabiliser for upgrades, I suggest to have your Avanza J installed with door switches sa back passenger doors. J models does not come equipped with this, only the G series. later, you can have in centrally locked,or pwede na rin isabay kung kaya ng budget. then, have a rear spoiler with 3rd brake lights installed. importante and 3rd brake lights since if the car following you is a lorry or dump truck, mahirap makita ng driver ang brake lights mo. Now, the 3rd brake light's function is to alert these kind of drivers kasi mataas ang location ng brake light.
Isa pa, since black ang color na napili mo, have some reflectors installed in strategic places wherein makita agad sa gabi. Usually, vehicular accidents involves a dark colored vehicle, lalo na at twilight or dusk.

O.T. - Ano po bang color vanzy nyo? yung sa akin kasi champagne, may natuklap na paint at lumabas yung black... may nabili akong pentel pen na gold, pinatungan ko ng gold yung black para di pansinin.

OT - Di sya halata na may gasgas kapag tiningnan mo sa malayo (more than 5 mtrs). Dont forget to slightly polish it with a wax to remove some excess ink to flatten the surface. Syempre, natatanggal din sya kapag pina-carwash mo si vanzy... i-retouch mo na lang ulit. Matrabaho nga lang, pero it's better than kitang-kita yung gasgas.

hi. please correct me if i'm wrong. ito po bang avanza club ay based sa south? i live in cainta (work in QC) and i want to know if i could join sa mga EBs na medyo malapit po and be a member? have been reading the forums for a long time and i value the information that i get.

my avanza's been with me for a year and a half at wala naman akong reklamo (my last car was a VIOS) until it almost floated nung bagyong ONdoy. meron po ba kayong maire-refer na bilihan ng spare parts, specifically aircon blower motor (part no. 88550-B4030) na sobrang kelangan ko ngayon but will cost me 10thou kung sa casa ko bibilhin (at oorderin pa nila sa abroad kasi wala dito). me mga nagsabi sa kin na ipa-rewind ko na lang motor. reliable kaya ito. naghahanap ako ng medyo less expensive kasi po siningil ako ng toyota ng almost 90thou for the rehab nung isugod ko si avanza dun nung september after it got flooded. before christmas ko na sya nakuha tapos may mga aayusin pa.

yes you can join sa mga EB's..hindi po base sa south ang club meron lang pong taga south, north etc na mga members .

i-try mo sa GANT motor sa may taft avenue isa sila sa distributor ng mga oem parts ng toyota lesser ang price nila kesa sa casa...meron din silang replacement part kaya kung orig ang bibilhin mo sabihin mo yung orig/oem ang gusto mo ..... eto ang number nila 8316932/8318938/8310994. hth

pareho tayo nang problema.. after ko malabas sa casa yung avanza ko.. nagka problema yung blower motor.. almost 3 weeks ako naghintay nang parts.. dumating na daw kahapon.. so naipasok ko na kanina yung avanza.. 8T+ yata quote nang Toyota Shaw wala pang labor don..

Sa pagkatanda ko, naka attend ako ng EB last December, I have paid a 500 php membership fee, have filled up the application form. Di kaya entitled ako sa ACP cap and shirt?

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

1. Accomplish Membership Application Form - to be distributed on Official EBs only
2. Php500.00 membership fee (includes 1 current sticker, 1 numbered ACP sticker and CAP)
3. Applicants will only be considered 'official' when both of the requirements below are met:
- Attendance to two (2) official EBs
- Accumulated at least 50 posts here in tsikot forum

The counter stickers 21-50 are with me already. The reflective stickers for front and back ay pinapagawa na po ni Cherey nauna lang matapos yung counter. We will distribute the stickers by set para hindi po nakakalito.
