Just got my pms last december 17 lampas na kasi ako sa 1k kaya ipinunta ko na sa toyota dagupan free of charge siya for change oil + oil filter + regular oil=1092 lahat na yong damage ko.Kaya lang di ako mapakali huhuhuhuhu di ko kasi makita si vanzy ko nung pinasok siya sa service bay nila bawal yata kasi di ako nagtanong hehehe

Ksama ang aircon maintenance sa every 20K. Good thing may promo ang toyota until Jan 15. I have paid 8.5K yata dati. inabot ng 3 days.

Kahit na hindi pa aabot ang ODO ko ng 40K, magpapa 40K PMS ako next year (hehehehe, next month). hahabulin ko ang promo sa aircon maintenance.

yikes 3 days?? yung 8.5K mo prez kasama na lahat? or sa aircon pa lang yun? dapat pala makausap yung SA ko.. para malaman ang budget.. balak ko din kasi magpa wheel alignment.. parang may nginig na yung Avanza ko pag 120kph above ang takbo eh.. magkano kaya pa wheel alignment/balance?

tinawagan ko yung SA ko sa shaw.. dahil nga may promo daw na 50%.. 3,400+ daw yung aircon cleaning (parts and labor na daw yun).. wala daw sa odo yun.. basta once a year daw dapat nagpapalinis para hindi magka problema yung aircon.. kasi daw pag nagka problema at hindi pala pinalilinis every year.. eh hindi covered nang warranty.. pero di nga daw alam kung gaano katagal.. baka daw kasi madami nakapila.. so minimum 3 days daw yun! yikes.

Hello guys? just got my 1.3J 1,000 KM first week of Dec. 2008 in toyota pasong tamo. i am expecting fuel effieicency will improve as per my two officemates whom are Avanza owners (actually car plan owners) their average running are 16 -20 KM per liter city driving. is this true? my officemates had already reach their 15,000 KM and the other one is near reaching 20,000 KM, while im am the newest at 3,000+ yet.

Currently im still averaging 9KM per liter both city and highway. at 80km/liter the power is already struggling reaching 3,000 RPM. consistent load of the car is only two person (me and wife).
daily KM distance run is 56KM Imus Cavite - Makati vise versa via Aguinaldo highway. My other officemate is also lives in Cavite same route.

My idle RPM is 1000 if A/C is engage and 850 if not, is this normal?

Also need your views if its normal with rear wheel vehicles like 1.3J wherein you can feel vibration in the stick shift? i am a front wheel driver ever since. I have place a complain with TPT service advisor they say it is normal, is it true?

Regarding their FCs, ask your office mates how they compute their avanzas average fuel consumption. My avanza is my first car and my first formula for FC computation was wrong. Thanks to this forum I learned to compute FC correctly. Now every full tank I reset the meter and the next time I refill (for full tank again) I record the distance (km) and then divide it by the quantity of gas loaded. If your officemates compute it this way, well their claim is probably true and we should congratulate them.

My FC last december was 11.4 km/liter (Southwoods, SLEX to Legaspi Village makati) with 6 neighbors in carpool. I had my 30k PMS last November at Toyota Makati.

Not much vibration on the stick shift of my 1.3 j avanza and my idle rpm with a/c and w/out ac is almost the same as yours.

^^^ Kahit saan mo nabili ang Avanza mo, ma honor naman ang free labor kahit na sa anong casa. Puwede ka rin magpa PMS sa pinaka malapit at pinaka convenient para sa iyo. Hindi ka nakatali kung saan mo nabili.

BTW, sa Toyota Alabang binigyan ako ng free VIP card. discount card din ito sa PMS at parts. Valid lang nga for 1 year.

YUP..got mine in tyt alabang pero ni minsan di ko pa napuntahan yun..dito ako lagi sa tyt balintawak near sm kasi malapit ako...

Haaayyy salamat Vanzie is back after 2 nights at TYT SM North for PMS and RE-painting of the metal damaged by the batt fluid.

Anyways, it's been exactly 6 months since I had my 10K PMS (odo reading then was only 8,804 km).

My odo reading now (15k PMS) is only 12, 840 km .

I told the SA na gawin na lahat ng pang 15k para di na ako babalik kaagad.

Here's the list of items done to vanzie:

FYI - 3 liters lang ang pinalagay ko sa job request kasi may tira pa ako from my 10K pms but when i checked the leftover hindi man lang nabawasan...3 liters lang kaya talaga nilagay......naku naman talaga eh di ko pa naman alam kung pano i-DIY yan top-up .... pwede kaya sila pagawin ko ng top-up????

I don't know if na-miss ko lang si Vanzie pero feeling ko parang gumaan siyang dalhin particularly yung steering wheel....hhhhmmmm

had my 20K PMS kanina.. 21,300+ na odo ko.. total damage is Php4,016.73.. top up lang ang oil.. change spark plugs, filter, rotate wheels, tested battery (papalitan na daw!)

No Aircon service availed?

wala pa.. ang haba nang pila eh.. wala pa daw yung mga aircon tech nila.. nakabakasyon pa daw.. pinapatawag ulit ako nang friday.. baka ipasok ko nang Monday (Jan. 12).. 3 days daw yun eh.. 3,400+ daw sa avanza.. 50% off na daw yun.. hanggang Jan. 15 ang promo.

Estimate is about 14K. Makukuha ko pa rin ang aircon maintenance na promo. :D
