Just bought a 2meters of 10cm double sided film type insulation this morning.
Now here is the rear hood project as I mention earlier.
PART 1
Here is the original look of our avanza J-type ceiling.
I start by removing this rubber.
This is the clip woohoo and I was talking about.
Taking the clips out. (hope i can return it to original look)

PART 2
After removing the clips here what it looks like.
Now we are going to remove this plastic clip. (easy job)
Next is removing this clip located by the windows (left n right)
This is what it looks so far.. (Man.! can't believe i'm doing this to vanzy)

PART 3
This is the support or should we call hook that brace the ceiling. (removing it by following the arrow movement)
Next we need to remove the center dome light.
Next is the rear door rubber or the middle door to be removed.
And then take all the pull handle off.

Tadaa..!! this is the inside looks like..
Notice the yellow portions pointed by red arrows, these are the area that aren't cover in our ceiling. And the material they used I think serving as sound deadening purpose only. Although it rejects heat but not as good as the Double sided Insulating material that I 'm going to use.
Here trying to fit the material. (red measurement is for the ceiling width and yellow is the material width) All we need to do is cut like 91cm to make it perfectly fit to our ceiling.
Nice.. there are some gaps that can hold our insulation.(less job..)
