Hey guys!!! Maiba naman ako can someone please post a video (preferably) or a step by step procedure with photos on how to replace our windshield wiper?

I really want to do this on my own. I would very much appreciate if you can recommend brands of wiper available sa mga car shops(pwede po ba ito?)....thanks in advance po!!

Ma'am napalitanyo na ba. May video ako kaso Youtube is undergone maintanance today so kung gustonyo maam sa YM nalang i transfer file ko nalang.

Twist the wiper blade ff circular motion til it stop.



Look for the LOCK



Press the LOCK while pulling the wiper downward.


Wiper removed.

It will take only seconds.

Thank you so veeeeerrrryyy very much Marfin sana wag kang magsasawa na tumulong sa mga katulad ko na novice DIYers (Destroy It Yourself).

I really do appreciate your effort regardless of how trivial the project is you still find time to help out....kahit yung tulad ko na beginners na-aappreciate na yung pag DIY because of people like you.

as the saying goes....baby steps!!! Third project ko na ito kay Vanzie ko the first two were installation of assist grips and scuff plate. Simpleng projects lang but for me it's a big achievement!!! Thanks again.

hehehe i already thought about that. pumunta na ako sa Trinoma at SM nag tanong ng replacement for my wiperblade for avanza. unfortunately, pinapadala sa akin sa shop yung luma.... kaya kailangan ko din baklasin on my own....mas mura daw sa labas ng casa....anyways, maraming salamat sa suggestion nyo ni woohoo.... I will just buy from TYT Balintawak.

Eh bat SM papabaklas nila talaga yan sayo yan... sa auto supply lang like sa New Joto malapit lang satin... sila na magbabaklas at magkakabit...Wiper casa pa? Mapapamahal ka nyan...

Anyway tinuro na ni sir marfin so i-DIY mo na... kayang-kaya mo yan

kaya nga sinasagot kita para matuto ka dahil kung ayaw kita tulungan ni hindi ako mag popost di na ako mag-aaksaya ng panahon, but anyway sorry kung awkward ang pagkakapost.

Furthermore, yung pinost ni marfin is palit pati frame, kung blade o goma lang papalitan which is cheaper sa auto supply ko lang pinapapalitan yan sila na gagawa. Mga 100 pesos lang yon per blade, japan na yun o germany check mo goma dapat malambot.

Kung palit pati frame mas maganda and worry free yun nga lang mas mahal. Sometimes pag di maganda pagkakabit ng blade nakakalas...

Normal lang naman sa isang lady driver ang walang alam sa automotive, yung brother ko ganon din nung una tinuruan ko lang. Keep on asking even silly questions we are more than willing to help, promise...

wala po ba sir sa manual natin? hula ko lang, baka 18" and 16" sya. yung sa civic ko kasi 20" and 18" sya.

22" and 17" po ang nasukat ko sa Avanza ko. Hindi exact, shorter nang kaunti sa 22" and 17", pero malamang ganun talaga yun. Yours might vary, but probably not. Hehe.

I stretched the blade and measured it again the shorter one (passenger side) is 16" while the longer one (driver side) is 20"

binabad ko muna sa warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly hopefully mas umayos ng kahit konti ang pahid .... this weekend na ako bibili ng replacement...will be praying tonight na maibalik ko sya bukas!!!

Keep it up. ganyan talaga ang feeling sa una when you try Destroy It Yourself sa car mo, but once you got the feel at know-how enjoy yan.

I think puwede. Parang same lang ang wiper arm "wiper connector" ng Avanza at Altis. tapos may mga altis akong nakikita na naka frameless. Iba lang nga ang haba ng para sa altis.

yes pwedeng pwede po .. just get the same size ..

btw, its called bosch AEROTWIN wiper .. works on our altis and trooper ..

IMO mas maganda ang punas pag may putik and mas matagal ang buhay and mas matagal lumabo hence mas maganda pa ang appearance.

Ngek... baka nga modified na ito. Yung right side, medyo pumapalya sa outer edge ng swipe range. Pero yung sa driver side, perfect pa naman ang pahid.

Kaya nga nainip ako nang husto dahil walang nag-respond dun sa post ko re:measurement, eh. :-(

Bakit ang bilis yata nagasta ng wipers mo? :-(
