Hi mga sirs/madams,

Kindly help me decide on this one, I'm planning to get a brand new avanza this coming April, problem is that hindi ko kabisado ang performance ng avanza. I hope you can answer some of my questions so I can make a decision later on..BTW Avanza 1.5 M/T tranny prefer kong kunin..here are some questions I need to know first:
1.) Fuel efficiency - km/liter? city driving and long distance driving respectively. also, would like to ask Top speed?

14.5km/liter highway.

8.5km/liter city. That's at an average of 20KPH, ha.

2.) Other maintenance problem? such as steering, suspension, wheel bearings, brake pads, etc... Ilang years aprox. bago po sya nagkakaroon ng problems?

No problems about those, so far. 4 years old na ang Avanza G ko.

3.) Malakas po ba humatak sa paakyat na daan? say for example baguio considering 7 people onboard.

Malakas siya, sir. Nakakapag-overtake pa nga ako sa Marcos Highway, paakyat. 5 nga lang kami, pero may bagahe naman.

4.) stable po ba sya sa daan? parang mataas po kasi ang height ng body nya e. also, nka-ABS brake system ba sya?

Stable naman, although dahil nga sa shape niya, e mas ramdam pag dinadaanan ng malalaking bus/trucks. No biggie, though. I actually tried running it at 145kph on a rainy day with 7 people on board. Very stable.

Here's one scenario, I usually travel alone from manila to mariveles bataan (once a week), do you think ok ang avanza sa long distance drive?

Kayang-kaya, sir. 4 hours yung travel time namin from Pampanga to Baguio, non-stop (well, except for 2 to 3 minutes calls of nature breaks). Non-stop din from Pampanga to SFdo La Union (~4 hours), then non-stop SFLU to Vigan (~ 3 hours?), then non-stop Vigan to Laoag (~3hours).

Unless the "sandwich" material is a fiber glass, not the Styrofoam sheet.
